I'm usually a total hypocrite who tells people to try and eat occasionally on stim binges, yet I'll live on Nurishment, energy drinks and smoothies for days and then wonder why I look like a corpse.

A recent discovery has changed my world:

Reassuringly solid, yet light enough to force down a couple without too much hassle and end up feeling better.

As an actual breakfast product, I have no idea of its efficacy but doubt it's half as sexy as it appears to think it is. What I do know is it's the kind of thing that raises eyebrows among a certain demographic when purchased by a single man.

Any bloke who's asked for Diet Coke in a northern chippy will know what I'm on about.

LOL @ getting diet coke when in the chippie.

I just had another 20hr fast then made 2 quarter pounders with grated cheddar cheese and fried onion, one with tomato sauce on and one with smokey BBQ and coleslaw as well as a massive portion of coleslaw on the side.

LOL @ your fasting.

why are you doing it? why don't you eat healthy stuff between fasts?

and its funny, just cos you make me laugh...it's good Spade...really :D

I'm doing it because I want to. Good to give your digestive system a rest every now and then AND the more I eat the hungrier I am as I keep saying. If I eat breakfast I'm eating every 2hrs, ridiculous. I'd rather fast all day and just have one big meal, when I do it like that I'm not hungry 2hrs later for some reason.

Yes, I don't usually eat till I've finished work, about 2 ish in the afternoon, after waking up at 5.30 and doing a physical job.

same reason, if I eat early on I keep wanting to munch.

i don't make a big fucking deal out of my "fasting" though.

You don't wake up till 2 in the afternoon, then you fast till what 8? After sitting round in your pants on the pooter for 6 hours?

It's because his cook's mum's away for two weeks, duh.

Next week he'll be munching on custard creams 24/7 as usual ;)

I tend to get up around 11/12. Usually haven't eaten from dinner time the day before and don't eat again until around dinner time that day.

I am the house cook.

Had a day a a minor celeb chef's cook shcool today, a day of concocting and eating fish, excellent day although had minor gut ache since I got home:\

Throwing every jar in the cupboard at a pile of raw sausages and then wacking it in the slow cooker for 76 hours doesn't constitute cooking Spade.

Your mum so does the cooking.

Nah you're right, you need to put it in the slow cooker for 1hr on 100, take it out and put it into a different pan and then cook it for 2hrs on 120, add an extra ingredient, cook for another 43 minutes, take it out and stick it into another pot and add to the oven for 3.5hrs, stir once, add some salt and then cook for another 4hrs whilst faffing about doing pointless things to it...that's cooking. 8)

My old dear works until 7pm or later most night, she most certainly does not do the cooking.

just taken the leg of lamb out of the oven after 3 and a half hours cooking at 150*.

@ Spade - nice and simple = cast iron oven dish - put leg of lamb in then cover in olive oil - put salt and black pepper in - cut in half 2 red onions and 4 cloves of garlic and throw in - sprig of rosemary and 2 bay leaves and throw in - half spoon of honey over the lamb then pop into the over.

after an hour turn the lamb over then wait till it's cooked.

doing roast and mashed potatoes plus peas and gravy from the juice of the lamb.

The lamb sounds nice bogman, I'm probably just going to have a beef and onion pie I took out the freezer tonight, have taken out some chicken for tomorrow might do the chicken and chorizo casserole as never got round to it this week. Got a bit of pork in the freezer there too, think I'll try and do a coca cola pulled pork type thing, was amazing the last time. Or a smokey BBQ pork dish maybe.
