I'm not the original poster, but I was in a similar situation. However, when I went to my doctor the first time I got bullshit 800mg Ibuprofin and Flexeril (muscle relaxant) - so shit basically. So I went to the ER the same day and got some Darvocet, big deal. Went back the next day they put me up to T3's, what a fucking joke, for intense pain. See the thing is I stopped daily heroin use about 3 weeks back, so my tolerance is fucked. But I worry if I tell the doctors this that they won't give me anything.
So the third day I go back there, pissed off cuz I'm getting shit drugs to help, and I decide to follow PhreeX's advice. Complaining about a pain that shoots down my arms when I move my neck a certain way, I described it as when you hit your funny bone, that feeling. Anyways, complaining about the pain I ended up getting a morphine IV and a bunch of tests...luckily I found out that I don't have anything seriously wrong. So I went out of there with some Vicodens. Shit, I would have expected at least something like some percocet if they weren't gonna give me any straight oxy.
So anyways, I'd reccomend checking out what PhreeX has to say about this type of thing, it can really help you out (especially if you're not getting shit and really need it).
