^^ I remember dreams rarely but 5-HTP gave me crazy dreams that I'd actually remember. Good crazy, not bad crazy.
It's like you're awake yet elements of nightmares/dreams are also in your vision.
The last (and clearest) that I remember, I'd thought I'd woken up from a nightmare where things were coming out of shadows - scaring the crap out of me. Mum heard me having a nightmare, woke me up and made me a cup of Milo and sat me down in the lounge where her and Dad were watching TV. I remember looking at the shadows next to the TV and having the same shadow things from the nightmare were happening again. It's fucked up because you know you're awake but you know whats happening doesn't make sense, so you freak out. Also, it wasn't until the next day when Mum had asked how I was and if I'd remembered getting up, having the Milo etc, that I'd actually remember what had happened.
Fuck, writing that gave me chills.
PS: Haven't had one (that I remember?) since then, I was about 15 I think.
I had them when I was younger, they're so surreal it's hard to explain. Mum thought I was possessed because of the blood curdling screams I'd unleash during the night.ValeTudo said:My ex had night terrors................
I'm told they're very different from nightmares, in that it doesnt occur in the midst of REM sleep, but then i dont really know what that means cause im not a doctor??! i have however spoken a few who suggested similar treatment to that of sleep apnea, just as a matter of interest ~
Anyone have any experience with this debilitating condition?
