Hi raze it is always best to just deal with it naturally. I myself was tempted so many times to go on meds but I'm just way too scared of getting dependent/addicted on them. What I would suggest is continue with the exercises eating healthy and find other ways for relaxation. Finding drugs for a faster solution is an easy way out but will put you into a new way of addiction.if it is too much then make the stabilisers your last option but make sure to always discuss you concerns with your doctor.
IMO a short run with either lamictal or lithium might be just what a person needs.. I would hesitate to get on them permanently. I used lamictal during my opiat and benzo detox and have had great results.. and I used lithium with great success to finally exit out of the addictive cycle with cocain years ago. The lamictal seemed to have very little side effects but the lithium had some. But even though I have seen little documentation backing it up I am a firm believer in using mood stabilizers to combat or shorten paws symptoms.
Sorry guys I have read your responses, ty for the support. Unfortunately the nigglingly temptation of opiates got to the best of me and I've been on my first heroin binge. I just don't care anymore and want the pain to stop. :/
