I took 50 mg of aderol about 2 1/2 hours ago and now I am having extreme difficulty breathing and raised body temperature. I am used to taking aderol daily, as well as other amphetamines occasionally, and have never experienced symptoms of a possible overdose this badly. Please tell me what I can do, besides calling 911 or inducing vomiting, to be able to breathe regularly again and to stop a possible overdose. I need immediate responses..please help!

Maybe call your local poison control center for advice?
For what it's worth, 50mg of adderall shouldn't cause any serious problems, so maybe just try to calm down and breathe deeply. If you seriously can't breathe though, you might need to consider getting some real medical help.

I doubt you are in any danger. You are most likely experiencing more trouble handling it psycologically. You need to try to calm down and relax... Of course I am not a doctor and I suggest contacting medical professionals, but if you refuse to talk to anyone in the medical field, you have my personal advice.

I've been feeling this way for almost 2 hours. I know that's not a lot of aderol so I don't know why I'd feel this way since I'm used to taking 2-4 a day (but I don't have ADD or a perscription). I have a lot of anxiety problems. How can I calm down?

Just do something to take your mind off of your anxiety. Maybe try lying in bed and listening to some music or something. If you feel yourself starting to get nervous about it again, just repeat to yourself that it's not enough adderall to cause an overdose and that it's all in your head and try to chill.

Maybe call a friend on the telephone to talk to
-or-
try taking a walk
Just get your mind into something else, Reading,Drawing, writing on the message board!

As much fun as abusing adderall is, even when you have ADHD- you may want to stop taking them, or at least so much. Talk to your psychiatrist, ADD meds can make anxiety worse. Unfortunatly, the two conditions tend to coincide together, so take your pick. I had the same problem.

I DOUBT you have much anything to worry about... see, an amphetamine overdose usually means cardiac arrest... sounds like youtook too much and just have a little anxiety...
