Yeah I hate this too tathra. It's really only my family that does it though. Growing up 1 of 5 siblings, it was near impossible to ever be listened to or even heard!! Even now, at age 25, my family are only just starting to listen to me. Haha ahhhh families.... 8)
 
Speaking of families ... Mom's and their guilt trips. My hubby has been interviewing in a few states and my mom asked me if this is what I signed up for when marrying him. WTF?! Did you sign up for feeling small and walked all over for 30+ years?! (they just started counseling for that ...) too bad I didn't think of that when she made her comment :(

Fake people ... You are who you are, don't say things you don't mean ...

You know what? I think sometimes our parents turn out like their parents, regardless of how much their parent hurt them with their behaviour. Case in point is my Dad. My grandmother is such a bitch to him (and other people) sometimes, and she's always been like that. Now, he knows how much it has hurt him, but now as he's getting older he's starting to treat us (me and my siblings) like that!! So frustrating! I just want to tell him how hypocritical it is of him to behave like that when he disliked it so much when his mother did it.

My dad LOVED to point out how we were ungrateful little brats with comments like that followed by 'you are so ungrateful' hahaha BUT we did live in fancy hotels and eat fancy food and have maids most of our lives- so we were kind of bratty.......but, now I'm dirt poor, so- it all equals out =D

I have never really had this problem until recently! Its awful! Seriously, My upper lip bleeds!!!!!!! :o

Oh yeah, I hate those "there are people much worse off than you" lines.

Usually those people are in entirely different situations, making the whole argument irrelevant.
 
I'm not a fan of how it's becoming more and more popular for web videos (sports highlights, news, viral videos, etc.) to have commercials before them AND for the fast-forward feature to be disabled. I don't want to watch a :30 add about why I need to buy a Honda before I see the :30 news clip!

Same with internet radio now getting commericals. Nothing kills electronic sets on internet radio like commericals!
 
^This annoyed me today!
On YOUTUBE!!!!! They've never done that before- but this one particular video had a commercial first and I was so turned off by it I closed the window:)
I missed out on some OLD Madonna b/c of some silly 30 second ad......
 
people who genuinely seem to need to cut you down just to make themselves feel better. The older I get, the cleaner I am, the more I truly appreciate others. People are so unique - some can suck, sure - but think of how boring life would be if we were a bunch of fucking I robots ? Personally I'm pissed that people cannot embrace differences and find the need to make a degrading comment / joke.

But I'm not into personal attacks. Especially across an internet forum.

people who get angry if they find out i live in an affluent area (used to be poor, now rich, fucking poor people)

-I hate when people stop in the middle of the street...for a stop sign. Like seriously wtf. Or people who don't signal (I drive as part of my job)
For the other part of my job...
-Patrons who should know how but still ask me how to send an e-mail. Like, don't ask me what to put in the "subject" field. Are you serious? I have people I should be helping right now but I'm busy trying to tell you to put the subject of your email in the subject field. Seriously now.

-Patrons who have to tell their life stories about 5 times before they let me do your job. Just because part of your roof caved in and you're old doesn't mean I have the phone number to the 1st amendment. I didn't know amendments had phone numbers?

Well, I don't get ticked off too often. So that's about it right now.
The last 2 times I got ticked off at someone it turned out to be my bad. Like, instead of them being annoying, I was being a horrible person.
