First, I'm not sure which forum this belongs to, but I'll just post it here.
This is the story of my day:
After school today, I call up my friend A to see if he wants to hang out. He says sure, and everytime we hang out which is not very often, we smoke some weed. He says to me he already has some weed and we can hotbox his washroom. I ask "are you sure your mom wont care?" and he just says "yeah, she won't give a fuck." So I say, sure I'm game. So and hour later I arrive at his house and we go and hot box his washroom. After were both decently high were having a good conversation going, but all of a sudden things get strange.
All of a sudden, out of nowhere, he just stops talking. Completly silent. Right before this we were having a decent conversation, but all of a sudden he just became silent. This realy unnerved me because no matter what I said to him, he wouldnt respond. I'd be like "yo A, try talking, why arent you saying anything back?!" and he wouldnt respond, but I khnew he was conscious because his eyes followed me where ever I was. He held and emotionless face, and just sat on the ground of the washroom, eerily staring at me, not saying a single word. This freaked me the fuck out. I had the thought that what if weed had somehow sent him into a depressive episode or something. Recently he started smoking alot more weed like 10 times a day or so, compared to the just 2 times a week he was doing before. So i was afraid he had entered some form of psychosis and maybe had an underlying depressive disorder or somthing that the weed had unearthed.
After about 10 minutes I said lets get the fuck outta this washroom, and he said "ok yeah lets go." And I was saying "why didnt you talk before? why didnt you respond?" and all he said was "I dunno."
I'm chillin in A's room playing a gameboy, and A is sitting on his bed just browsing on his laptop. 10 minutes pass with out either of us talking and I hear a splashing sound. I had my gatorade on the floor so I thought he had knocked it over. I look up and A is projectile vomiting ALL over the ground and bed. At this point I'm thinking, 'what in the fuck just happened?" I ask him why he puked and he couldnt even give me an answer. He said he felt fine, then just puked. A very large volume of vomit was discharged.
The vomit had splashed from the ground and gotten onto his bed, and suddenly, he grabbed a pair of scissors, and started cutting away the parts of the bed and blanket that had vomit on it. At this point I had confirmed something was critcally wrong with A. I dont know what had happened, but he had somehow lost all reasoning skills.
After this, he told me he felt fine and wanted to go play some video games. I told him that he should really get some rest and that I should leave, but he just kept saying he was fine and wanted to play some PS2. so we went downstairs and within 20 seconds of us sitting down on the couch in front of the TV he had passed out. I woke him asking "A what happened?" he said he was just 'pondering.' but 20 seconds after this he completly lost consciousness again. I told him I was just gonna go home and he should get some rest. He said sure.
So my question is, is any of this explainable?
Also he told me he has started injecting opiates. Im not sure of what, but its some sort of pharm. I didnt really belive him at first, but he has alot, alot of tracks on his legs. I'm thinking this could possibly some sort of withdrawl symtoms of the opiates? But was it triggered by the weed?
And has he suffered any permanent damage? Today seems like all of a sudden his brain has been wiped blank. I was seriously freaking out when all he did was stare at me for 10 minutes, with a blank face, not responding to anything, not even physical touch. help?
