Heroin What the fuck just happened? heroin-induced seizure??

So I did a shot, didnt think it was anything more than normal... next thing I know I'm standing at the counter shaking UNCONTROLLABLY and have to sit down on the ground to try and control it... i end up lying down on my side, still shaking like a madman, then I must have just nodded out cuz I woke up later (didnt check how long I'd been out) and felt fine. No headache or anything. I really dont think it was cotton fever cuz there was no nauea, no pain.... it was weird. Any ideas as to what it was?

It may have been, as opioids can lower the seizure threshold to some extent, but usually not to the degree which can provoke a seizure unless there is an underlying neurological condition. You might want to see a doctor and explain what happen, before it happens again as seizures can be life threatening.

Could be really REALLY bad cotton fever. Not kidding either, very possible.

Opiates can induce seizures, although I've always known this to be exceedingly rare.

It's certainly possible... but there are a lot of things that could have caused that, perhaps entirely unrelated to the heroin. There's not going to be any way to know unless you go to a doctor. Certainly nobody here is going to be able to give you any concrete answers, which is why we don't allow speculative questions like this.
