What the fuck happened to me? Strange health issues...

Lets say I'm a regular heavy user. Of pretty much everything common and popular, plus a few less popular favourites. I don't slam speedballs in the morning or anything like that, but if you found me at 4am on a Tuesday on coke, weed, benzos, opiates, antihistamines and booze (currently the situation...) it wouldn't be abnormal. I do eat healthy and look after my body and mind in many other ways.

So... I've had a few things happen in my life I can't explain. Not just ODs or bad trips. Weird stuff. All recent. The first was what I guess is a panic attack - I do have an anxiety disorder but never thought it was that bad - I could just walk in public but not talk to people and could hardly breathe and had to go lie down for an hour, eat Valium like it was sweets, then back to normal in three hours. Not so bad... but...

The next one was at home - very ordinary situation - no hard drugs just slightly stoned on a weekday doing some work. Had an arguement with my girlfreind and she stormed out. I stressed, paced around, then had this sudden feeling my heart had stopped... yea stopped... I felt for my pulse in three places and found nothing... tried to jog on the spot to get my heart going... nothing... imaginary? Impossible surely... I tried to call for help but no voice came out of my mouth... passed out on the floor. Woke up ten minutes later and felt absolutely fine and sober as a brick. Never told anyone.

The third thing is even more worrying... (unless you're a doc and think there's something wrong with my heart based on the second incident! In which case tell me! Other docs say it's okay based on scans/tests) ... anyway I was on my way home one morning - after getting drunk and stoned and coked up the night before - then suddenly I felt... wrong... not panic but... almost... insanity... do you know what I mean? I kinda knew I was at a train station but if you'd asked me what a train was I couldn't have answered. It took me 5 minutes to think of the words to use to buy a fucking ticket. It took me 15 minutes to say goodbye to my friends because I had no comprehension of other humans and what one might say to them. What they must think of me... It was like a trip - a complete change in my perception of the world - like if I'd had too much 2C-I or unknown shrooms and it'd all gone wrong or something... but that wasn't the case...

Is this shit something to be worried about? Am I going mad? If so, that's cool, just tell me - I'll get a t-shirt which explains it :) ... yea... but seriously though...

Who knows. You're a self-admitted heavy drug user so it's probably related to your drug use. Who knows what you're smoking. BTW TDS is
typically for people who are not using or trying to quit.

If you want a good answer you should try being a bit more specific about what is actually going on. I mean I'm just not able to gather much from what you wrote other than maybe a panic attack. But there is about a thousand and 1 things that can be triggering panic attacks and its likely that that you want to figure out.

If you can write out maybe more symptoms, how it happens, your diet, your health, do you smoke? Eat a lot of sugar and what not? Have you ever got blood work done? Any signs of anything going on? Hows your blood pressure typically?
All things like that could help us at least guess a little better.

Lmao @ the t-shirt comment though at least you're keeping your spirits up about it.

I'm glad the doctors checked you over and are happy it's not your heart. I don't think anyone over the internet is going to contradict that!

It really is very difficult to say what is going on. Do you think it could be anxiety/panic related? Have you explained all your symptoms and the different episodes to a doctor? I think that is your best bet, get yourself fully checked out for a physical cause, then perhaps move on to considering a psychological cause..

Probably a good idea to stay away from drugs in the meantime, as you don't know what's going on..

Good luck <3

Worry. Blood tests can't show everything. I think research chemicals may do a lot of things we have no idea about. I noticed even after being clean for awhile that I have mental issues that I never had before I used and health problems doctors can't figure out. If I had stopped early on I might of been ok but instead I worry everything that im going to wake up with some kind of serious problem or that things will get worse. Take this as a sign to quit bro. At least for awhile. See if the problems go away. Maybe it is just a built of chemicals. what ever the case I would take a break for sure... don't expect the doctors to explain it.

Even prescription medications that are available now a days can have such effects which doctors may be unable to help you with.

OP: If you take a break or choose to quit for good, I wish you the best of luck. :)

eliminate the drugs for a decent bit and see if there are recurrences to the degree you were experiencing while using. Your symptoms/occurrences will most likely degrade significantly.

Many people exacerbate their issues through the anxiety brought on by the drugs they are taking. The initial worry snowballs from there and makes the anxiety progressively worse.
