What stimulants would stop respiratory depression?

What types of stimulants would stop the respiratory depression of opiates? I was curious as to how stimulants would stop the respiratory depression caused by fentanyl analogues. I attached a link to the video of an experiment showing how a stimulant stops the respiratory depression of opiates. I was curious how the gas used during the Moscow theater siege allowed for that few casualties when they used a fentanyl analogue that had to be at least as strong as carfentanil to put the hostages to sleep that quickly. Was form would the drugs have to be in to knock someone out the hostages such as carfentanil citrate or oxalate salt that was micro pulverized so the particles would behave as a gas. I know that halothane was found on some of the clothing of the hostages. Was the fentanyl analogue in a salt free base form or a liquid free base form mixed with a stimulant to stop respiratory depression. I am not trying to obtain any of these substances I just wanted input on how they could have done it. I said that the stimulant was in the anesthetic mixture itself.

I know adrenaline is used for respiratory failure. And I don't think the other stimulants will STOP respiratory depression. I think they're more than likely to IGNORE it and that can be dangerous. With speedballs and such.

^^ Exactly.

Stimulant drugs do not reliably reverse respiratory depression. I'd say the only ones are Adrenaline, which was mentioned and better yet, Nalaxone!

Yea I don't think stimulants were added to it cause that would mean coke would bring somebody put of a opiate overdose which just simply isn't true. Stims added with opiates don't stop respiratory depression just increase the risk you overdose and die from the combo of drugs straining the heart/organs.
Me and the OP talked about this before and he never mentioned why he figured stims were given to the hostages too because I have not seen any evidence of that.
I suppose adrenaline could do that but not stimulant drugs.

I believe they used an opioid antagonist in this case. They did not administer it in time and many of the hostages died from the respiratory depression, primarily children and the elderly.
