(Frusciante is the undoubtedly the only artist I can think of who could possibly pull off covering the same raw emotions Ian Curtis did. Also, the only artist I would ever bother listening to a Joy Division cover of! Haha!)

the original' video is an old fryed out friend, on those heavy 'solo rides' as a young'n. it honestly had a hand in the, my ignition of "pip"; that and another heavy solo trip laying in-front of a mirror for- idk how long - although i didnt really get it then -iah.
. heheh .
i didnt see a "skin-popper" as a subsurface so to speak.

I sure will! Personally, my favourite album is Niandra LaDes And Usually Just A T-Shirt. I actually went as far as to purchase the out of print copy in Hollywood, haha!

Niandra LaDes is usually a 'love it or hate it' album for most—Frusciante was really hurting while it was being recorded, and it is more than evident in the bizarre vocal/noise arrangements. Even then, it made for a beautiful work of art—truly a class all its own. The Empyrean is also just absolutely marvelous.

Next, my favourite Frusciante songs are "Mascara", "The Past Recedes", "The Will To Death", "Going Inside", "Unreachable", "Murderers", "Your Pussy's Glued To A Buiding On Fire", "Second Walk", and "Big Takeover".

My favourite acoustic performance is the following performance of John Frusciante -"The Will To Death"—hands down my favourite performance in general.

yeah, i am pretty sure i have the DnB vinyl that the bass-line in that mix is from; the F&M vs is slowed down a 1/5 or so, sounds awesome. i love that remix, simply done, totally different from the original but sounds written that way to begin with.
