White Zombie - Real Solution #9

Apocalyptic dreams see the ordinary madness
Who will survive and what will be left of them?
I never lock the dogs when the wolf is in the darkness...

There is alot of money to be made from chaos. :(

whaaat

ive actually for the first time been pumping out lyrics for song.

writing short stories, essays, poems, pros etc sure; writing music for instruments is the only way i play, song lyrics, i wasnt able pull off.
now, heh, ill be working on something the next few days, to crash-out.
been curious about a different on-line venue besides, youtube.
now i know...

;)

and here it comes..!
haha

Edit:
but, i can record onto a minidisk, but have now way of uploading the music from there. 'soundjam' was on this many many years ago, and is what id record my mixes and other stuff with, besides 'Logic Audio' but those are gone now.

what was that F&M that you practiced until it broke your voice??
i certainly dont imagine you posting yourself singing that now, but,
if i were you, that would be my conquest, although acapella it would be strange to carry.

heh.

^No, that song is Howl..........
tried that and another but my voice was so loud it was REALLY distorted so I came on that song and put the comp in another room and was able to get it okay:)
Howl is way too hard to sing and capture, but maybe if I put it across the house........?

adjust low the gain if possible, or if not, drop the recording EQ flat and into the negatives.
then set the bass upon replay at 0 or +1-- mid +2 or +3 -- and the treble in between the two.

maybe roll up or lay a couple of t-shirt or something in-front of the speakers, different materials will sound different. if that doesnt work, setting it across the room will, the reproduction sound quality will be odd and cavernous, but obviously not your voice, or any EQ 'clips'.

also, headphones will double as a mic, each pair will absorb varying sound textures.

my favorite modest mouse song... i havent really heard one i havent liked, after some acclimation admittedly ~;-) but they grew on me eventually, and this one stuck.
lyrics clearly inspired from the of~ the Metamorphoses of the Ovid ~
always felt provoked thought by the lyrics, (:hah:) and love the quartet...
i could just loop the quartet part.

modest mouse - she atomizes and ionizes

" She ionizes and atomizes
Then turns to sunlight
He realizes and itemizes
Pulls harder than gravity
She ionizes and atomizes
Then turns to sunlight
~~~
Flourescent lightbulbs will make
An absense of dark, but
The light just ain't there still and she said
"I'm feeling empty
The real lights can make you heavy but
Never ever really empty
Fluorescent lights will always equal empty
"
I dont normally read many forwards, but I got this from my Dad today.
original subject in fwd quoted.
On Saturday just gone, at Karrinyup Shopping Centre (yes, Western Australia) the Variety Club Youth Choir organized a FLASH MOB where they all were incognito in the Food Hall, and started standing up in groups singing "I am Australian."
The purpose was to raise money for the QLD floods. Each time it is clicked on, money is raised thru google ads, SO PLEASE WATCH!!!!!! It is a beaut way of suppporting those poor ozzies over on the other side of our country – and you can’t help but be so proud of our youth!!
Could be :)
Such a good song, written originally in 1987 and rather famously known here in Australia.
Here's the lyrics :D
I came from the dream-time, from the dusty red soil plains
I am the ancient heart, the keeper of the flame.
I stood upon the rocky shore, I watched the tall ships come.
For forty thousand years I've been the first Australian.
We are one, but we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We share a dream and sing with one voice:
I am, you are, we are Australian
I came upon the prison ship, bowed down by iron chains.
I cleared the land, endured the lash and waited for the rains.
I'm a settler, I'm a farmer's wife on a dry and barren run
A convict then a free man, I became Australian.
We are one, but we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We share a dream and sing with one voice:
I am, you are, we are Australian
I'm the daughter of a digger who sought the mother lode
The girl became a woman on the long and dusty road
I'm a child of the depression, I saw the good times come
I'm a bushy, I'm a battler, I am Australian
We are one, but we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We share a dream and sing with one voice:
I am, you are, we are Australian
I'm a teller of stories, I'm a singer of songs
I am Albert Namatjira, I paint the ghostly gums
I am Clancy on his horse, I'm Ned Kelly on the run
I'm the one who waltzed Matilda, I am Australian
We are one, but we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We share a dream and sing with one voice:
I am, you are, we are Australian
I'm the hot wind from the desert, I'm the black soil of the plains
I'm the mountains and the valleys, I'm the drought and flooding rains
I am the rock, I am the sky, the rivers when they run
The spirit of this great land, I am Australian
We are one, but we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We share a dream and sing with one voice:
I am, you are, we are Australian
I am, you are, we are Australian!
We are one ….. We are many ….. We are Australian!
In a different voice with a good clip to it :)
