What song fits your current mood? vs. The universe and I create these notes



"Memoriam" & "Deficit" by Russian Circles. The first two songs off of their album Memorial.

Everything was so perfect....then destroyed. Despair, anguish, forlorness.... Where have I journeyed to? What is this I've been bequeathed? How many times must I die until I no longer have to endure the seemingly endless state of sorrow & horror which is my conscious being? Only to be teased by the tranquility I feel very temporarily stemming from what may be an artificial source. I think I'll always end up back here.

You should see the video - it is amazing! Starts off a bit slow but then is just beautiful (as are the other videos for this album).

I just found out that Anathema released a new album some time this year when looking for lyrics to post here. Can't wait to hear it =D
They started out as death metal (never liked that early music), then became a depressing rock band (love that music), and after the album A Natural Disaster they became an often, probably mostly inspirational rock band with a mixture of moods but often even the sad songs are inspirational. I think I like the new, inspirational Anathema better than the depressing one, but I really like both a lot. One of my top 10 bands for sure.

man, i was mean but im changing my scene, and doing the best that i can

Ive got to admit, its getting better; its getting a little bit better all the time
it can't get no worse....

The undertones in that tune, brought to mind this piece of beauty; that had the power to lull me to sleep, many times when I was struggling with it.
