I personally tend to relate to most of Eminem's work. A lot of what he says resonates with me.

"You're Never Over": he says "instead of mourning your death, I'd rather celebrate your life".. Especially since its coming to the 4 year anniversary of my mothers death. I can't believe it's been 4 years :/

Another favorite I seem to always hum to myself is his "Beautiful": "Nobody asked for life to deal us with these bullshit hands we're dealt/we gotta take these cards ourselves n' flip 'em don't expect no help.."
It can really touch a lot of people. Those are encouraging words and more people should stand by them. In the end, it all comes down to your view of the situation. How you feel and deal with it will affect any outcome. That's how I feel a lot of the time.

There is some amazing hiphop out there at the mo - saw an awesome vid of Akala quoting lyrics by Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg etc and Shakespeare and asking people to guess which was which, no one could - was genius :D

I agree with pretty much every word Lowkey has written/spoken - he's so wise, and he lost his brother when he was 18..

Thank you effie and Panic!! People just write Em off as a homophobic asshole, but he's really not. Most people don't know that he is really good friends with Elton John. Everything he says about hating is a facade. He's making this persona for him to retreat into and let out his emotions.

If you really take the time and listen to his words, think about their meanings, you'll realize there's way more than just spewing hatred. He really delivers powerful messages and is a great role model for people to look up to. Specially when people need someone to look to when overcoming their problems.. he went through so much and him telling us about it encourages people that you can get through it.

I just can't stop listening to his genius :)
