what separates the animals from you?

an opinion... I'n my opinion, the sky looks blue... most would claim this is true, and to the majority it is... the sky really does look blue. However, the ability to see does not make your sight correct. Take any color blind person, who se's blue as red, and don't explain to them that everyone see's things differently... Suddenly the fact that the sky looks blue is not fact, but opinion, due to the evidence driven fact as someone else see's it. Who's to say it is not our eyes that are screwed, and not seeing the color 'Urango', which combined with blue makes red.
Now colors are a bad example, due to the scientific evidence the majority holds on the inner workings of what we call sight. So instead take God... do you have an opinion? Well, then guess what... you are insane... why? because you have no evidence, period. The bible doesn't count but that's for the other thread. So instead look at the existance of extra-terrestrials... No evidence for, an abundance of evidence to insinuate that they are a possibility... you have an opinion of Yes or No, you are insane. The only fact driven answer is that it's possible. If thats your opinion, go back to god, or eyesight, or even better, the existance of the world around your mind.

Dolphins also have group sex. And I heard they evolved from the sea to land, but then evolved back into the water. They must be oceanic geniuses.
I honestly cannot think of any advantage humans have over other animals, except for the extent that our abilities have been put to use. Sure, we have things like instant meals and porn, but we also have traffic, jobs, and marriage. I think the dolphins are damn lucky to be frolicking in the waters at play and orgy.

There are hospitals all over the world, most notably in Russia and France where they use dolphins as midwives to help give birth in the water. Igor Charkovsky's daughter was one of the first underwater births. He put his wife in the Black Sea and as she was sitting in about 24 inches of water suddenly three Dolphins approach and pushed everyone away and took over. The Dolphins did something that looked like scanning up and down her body and she gave birth with almost no pain or fear. 20,000 births have been recorded with Dolphins as the Midwife in the Black Sea.

In another thread i expressed my opinion that wild animals do not experience pain as we humans do.
This in no way means that i condone animal torture or murder. The point was to differentiate us from wild life.
Outside the wild aspect, there is absolutely no difference between us and animals except ability, but then animals differ from each other just as much (if not moreso) in that respect.
