What random act of kindness did you perform today?

I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize (I NEVER answer them). Shortly after, I got a voicemail alert. After listening to it, it was a woman named Susan (from a business of some sort, but I couldn't make out the name) leaving a message for a woman named Kim about coming to the courthouse so that she could cut her a check for the money that she owed her and to give her a call back so that they could arrange a time to meet.

Rather than ignoring the call and letting their issue go unresolved while Susan thought Kim was just blowin her off (because I don't know either party, so why should I care?)... I decided to do a good deed and call Susan back to let her know that she'd called the wrong number. She was VERY appreciative and at the same time apologetic for calling my number. I told her "oh, it's no problem... I just didn't want you to wonder why she wasn't returning your phone call!"

It's uncanny how good it made me feel to know that I had helped someone in a small way. :D

my day is full of people wanting from me. i am constantly giving kindness but they are not random and i get paid for them. but every once in a while i am human and do something nice. today just wasnt the day

glad you got a warm fuzzy today :)

Not quite random but got a bloke who got me out of the shit more then a few times a dvd.
It made his day anyways.

^ I agree! :)

Unfortunately I haven't done any random acts of kindness in awhile. Unless you count cleaning my girlfriend's room while she was at work, which isn't entirely random if you know my habits. :P

I was walking in the woods tonight and I found a scrap of paper carefully folded with a girls name, address and number on it.
I texted her saying I had found it, and if there was someone she was waiting to hear from, they may have lost her details.
She replied to say thanks and there was someone she had been hoping to hear from :) maybe I just played a hand in fate.
