What pre-requisites do you have for a vendor?

I've have a few issues with vendors that will not provide any proof that what they are selling is actually what they think they are selling, and not cut product so that they can make more profit.

First. A vendor could just be a middle man, a middle man that does not verify their product could go down in flames if their supplier is no good an ends up getting people sick with lead poisoning or worse. A vendor that will not provide GCMS and MSDS isn't qualified to be a supplier/vendor.

Second. I am not against someone making a profit but if they are cutting the product to make more profit I will not take their side. Everybody wants to make money but this is not the secret to success.

Third. A "not for resale" agreement is favorable protection for the supplier and researcher.

Be careful what you agree to, illegal products tend to have strings attached (pressure that damages us all?) not just side effects that you and your future children will have. If you grow a third arm from the side of your head, it could have been caused by any one of the millions of drug choices you made, and it probably wont be covered by health insurance.

i think this thread is effective in the way of
harm reduction, provided no references to
specific vendors are mentioned
clean web design - not all scatterbrained
technical infomation is preferred. to buy
from a trusted chemist can be more
reputable then a middleman
price ?
reviews ...
how established they are, how long they've
been around
whether they sell [less magical...]
stimulants or downers can be an indicator of general
standards

good idea to follow initiative, and ruthless darwinism will take care of the rest
 
i like getting the msds and having gcms done by the vendor, although the vendor could just lie about it.

one thing i cannot stand is cheesy marketing, i like the products to be presented plainly and simply, not as if they are being sold to teenagers.

some more prereqs are reasonable payment and shipping options
 
huolesoh: Thanks, I like your idea about the types, "whether they sell [less magical...] stimulants or downers" BUT in reality it seems to me people tend towards wide selection. I would prefer a small and clearly labeled selection, less problems with mix-ups that way hopefully.

RobotRipping: The vendor could just lie about it but that takes effort, if they get caught forging documents like that then I'm sure reckless endangerment and even manslaughter could come into play, a big hole in their economic and financial future. It seems to me that some vendors want nothing more than to be the biggest even if they aren't ready for it, putting no work into it other than weighing and shipping somebody else's product without verifying it. They lower their prices to be more competitive which means lower standards. It would be nice to trust everybody, but why rely on trust when you can be for sure? Agreed gotta advertise somehow but not towards teenagers. As for payment, it's good when a customer can't put "RC","Ecstasy", or "Weed" on the payment memo line, I'd still rather buy in person at a store.
 
for me it's a sum of things (some mentioned):
- no bullshit brands/transparent about ingredients
- they answer e-mails/calls
- secure payment (no brainer)
- good shipping options
- they been around long enough
- have user reviews
- they've blog/some sort of news updates
- they speak good english

ofcourse, not of this really mean shit on its own and some of it can be faked, but I chose my guys following these rules and so far I'm 100% happy with them (and still alive ;p).
 
I've become more and more strict as time moves on with who i order from
Great Reviews
Good Communication
Price...to a degree (Ill pay the extra 5 dollars for a quality product)
Shipping Speed
No Branded Products
A site that closes off registration and requires a written statement of what you intend to use the chems for/user agreement (feel like is stops anyone without some sort of knowledge the ability to order a products)
 
Seems like a decent question to ask (though it also seems like a "how to make my scam site look legit" question). Anyways, this is vendor discussion which I don't think is allowed (might be outside of this sub-forum, though, can't recall).
 
@Fruitsmoothie quick/clear/professional response is definitely a good thing, if they want to privnote or act shady its probably a scam imho, BUT (big but) I do understand wanting privacy. Good reviews also, shipping is a tough one since they usually take a little longer than advertised, but ya more options is better imho.

@visualmagic written statement of intent?? Are you weird? If I said I intend to ingest it they can't sell it to me legally. But that's obviously not what its for :) legal is the best since there shouldn't be legal problems, before during or after the sale, which could mean long term stability. Instead of stress.
 
They have to be "legal" or honest about theyre product if you get me.
They must be trustworthy atleast to some extent and THE BIGGEST, they have to know the competition and be willing to bargain because otherwise i'll find someone else.

LOL show me any supplier that provides GC/MS results? That's unheard of. Even the Chinese ones who provide CoAs and GC/MS or NMR data are usually faking it, they don't really test their shit.

... You're confused man. Almost all test results in the RC scene are faked. And besides the death liability from Operation Web Tryp, RC suppliers have never faced liability for harm to their customers. It doesn't matter what bs legal disclaimers they use, none of this ever ends up seeing the light of day in court.

1. proper spelling
2. clean easy to navigate website
3. debit/credit payment options
4. able to find positive reviews somewhere

I prefer that they ship from the US but they all seem to have disappeared. honestly for me, buying RC's is rolling the dice until I find a good vendor and staying with them until they close.

Times like these the no vendor discussion rule is really frustrating. I could point you to one UK vendor has NMRs up with test dates for pretty much everything he sells. He could be faking them, someone could be faking them to him, but I suspect not. I believe them to be right. The guy's too clued up. Soon as one of those NMRs turns out to be dodgy the reputation he's spent a good bit of time and a good bit of money building is up in smoke, and he has a VERY good reputation.

As for what I look for Fruitsmoothie saved me a good bit of typing:

Safeorscam is always first port of call with a new vendor, another site I'm on allows vendor discussion, that's a check, does the vendor reply promptly to tentative questions ands do his answers to those questions sound knowledgeable and square with information available here for example on the substances in question. I do not support branded vendors in any way. I hate their lack of scruples in most often not even being prepared to tell you what's in a product, assuming they know themselves. Seen some shocking behaviour from certain UK branded vendors, completely unethical verging downright dangerous, quality control tests being conducted in the bodies of the people they supply to. I would name them and shame them if I could, but alas . . .
