Opioids What OTC drugs or food enhance opioid highs?

I read grapefruit juice and alcohol enhances the high.

Cimetidine (Tagamet) an OTC acid reducer has been proven to boost opiates and kratom for me pretty reliably. Grapefruit juice does as well but not as much. Depending on what you plan to do with your opiate experience, 25-50mg of diphenhydramine (Benedryl) can boost the sedating effects for a more noddy-type high. 15-30mg of DXM can help too, and will also help against tolerance, but can easily cause nausea or a threshold DXM effect which IME will ruin the opiate feeling. Alcohol, in my experience, will ruin the opiate high and just turn it into a drunk in almost any amount. I've always felt like opiates are like perfect, clean alcohol while alcohol is like dirty, fake opiates, so adding alcohol defeats the entire purpose except for maybe the tail end when the opiates are wearing off. Cannabis can also dirty up the opiate experience, but not nearly as much as alcohol, so I also save it for the tail end. I like my opiates like I like my pizza, just the main ingredients, NOTHING on top.

As for foods, fatty food is always a helper, but not too much of it because then you slow absorption. My favorite practice if taking opiates orally is to eat a good meal early on, fast for several hours before, then swallow your pills and eat a very small amount of something extremely fatty immediately after, wait an hour or so, and then eat a good meal as the buzz creeps over you. :)

Grapefruit juice is the only thing that will literally increase the amount of opiates in your blood.

Many people claim that things like promethazine, dxm, diphenhydramine, alcohol and benzodiazepines enhance the opiate high. In my opinion, these combinations will merely enhance the 'sedation'.

If the sedation or nod is what you're after, otc combinations are where it's at. The dopaminergic euphoria will be unchanged though, and if anything more sedation = less euphoria for me because being half asleep is, well... boring.

Eat a fatty meal right after taking the opiate.

Except it's not SYNERGY it's POTENTION. I.E. Dxm inhibits enzymes that metabolizes most opioids. Unless of course you take past threshould doses of the support drug and are going for synergy, love the synergy of dxm or benzos and opioids.
