I enjoy the feelings of dif strains, but I have friends that will try the same ones and say its all in my head. Can the feeling of any strain be described in non subjective terms all can agree on?
Epensive headies sold as haze seem to varry a lot, I wonder if it is only any strong indica to some. I remember haze used to always be skunky sour smoke but now i get sweet snhit.us

Your dealer could very well just be making up names. I know mine does from time to time when he gets unknown headies or exotics.

Strain does make a difference, I can tell usually what I am smoking, or at least get pretty close to it. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between headies, though.

Haze just basically means Sativa same as Kush basically means Indica.

So to me all thats unique about Haze is it's strongly Sativa dominant so that would be what is unique about it to my reasonable knowledge.

ya some weeeds give differnt types of high. Some are more intense, some are couch locking, some are kinda trippy. Some make you laugh, some make you quite.

You have to be a kind of weed connesuir to be able to tell the differences.

The hazes originate from purely sativa dominant strains like purple haze. But those strains are mostly a thing of the past because of cross polination with indicas for shorter breeding cycles. So basically now you have hybrids like silver haze which is purple haze crossed with a less dominant Indica and other less sativa dominant "hazes" like lemon haze (silver haze x skunk).

Really almost no one smokes true hazes anymore (at least inside the U.S. that is).

What would the silver haze be? Is it different than the super silver haze?

According to various sources SSH = 25% Skunk/25% Northern Lights/50% Haze. I've never had Silver Haze but think it's Sensi Seeds' version of SSH.

Your friend is clearly noob and doesnt have the super bud pallet those such as yourself are blessed with. True haze is an amazing; a racy thought, intellectually stimulating, energetic electric head fuck where as mostly all the trash that gets called haze on the streets maintains a noticeable indica %.

Also, "arjans haze" and anything that pathetic excuse of a breeding company "green house seeds" puts out is trash loaded up with stank, stale assed UK genetics to produce a big yield & a couch lock. Green house has a bad habit of taking completely unrelated strains and giving them names of strains of legendary status. Green house "Trainwreck" for example.. What ah joke! Franko is such ah lil f3g.

"Original Haze" or more commonly known as "Haze" is mostly a pure Sativa strain. It has quite a recognizable smell and appearance. The smell can be described as a pungent "piney" aroma and the appearance is very green, with many reddish-orange hairs (I've also had harvests of it that were the opposite, mostly reddish-orange with almost no green. The smell is still unmistakable). It also is full of trichomes (THC crystals). The high is pretty much exactly like FrostyMcFailure described; a racy thought, intellectually stimulating, energetic. It is one of my all time favorite strains.

The Haze I used to get when I lived in New Jersey was indeed Original Haze, as I knew the grower, as well as all the pushers. The seeds are available from most seed banks or vendors online. Anyone who says, "Original Haze doesn't exist anymore" are mistaken.

Although no growers strain, even if it's the same one, will come out looking identical because of many factors. This is a picture of the home grown "Original Haze" I used to get, so you can get an idea:

Also, one of the characteristics of all the Hazes I've sampled was a lemon-lime type flavor when vaped. The last bunch of SSH I had tasted like Sierra Mist.
