What made you find faith, or what turn against it?

For some people it's a major event (catastrophe, miracle) that made them find or lose their faith.
For others it was a slow process, triggered either by someone close or through reflection.
Others just follow through with what they were taught growing up.

What was it for you?
 
Jail and homelessness. Near death experiences. Grief and loss. I don't subscribe to any particular religion, but I'm much more spiritually inclined at this point in my life than I was at any point in my adolescence. It took some pretty serious issues for me to move past an agnostic philosophy, but it's certainly helped me grow into a stronger and more mature person.
 
When I decided I wanted to be the most healthiest person that I could possibly be and to learn to have empathy, compassion and to be all that is to be good instead of

a rotten conniving being that will do anything possible for self gain and greed.
Or phocking recognition, right !

And by not letting others take advantage of me of course and to learn to have as much strength as possible from a power up above that will help me when nothing else can.

And to learn to take care of my family first above all others to respect our dignity along with all others that need to do the same.

And to love and have as much self respect in myself as possible without having to bring others down. That is called having Jesus in my heart to me.

And I love the aliens. There couldn't possibly be anything worse than a human race right !
After all, Jesus was an extraterrestrial, right !!

And yes, to better myself everyday as much as possible. That's all. And that's enough for me.

And to feel like a much happier person too. And I do. By finding that love and happiness. It's also learning to respect what is in others' hearts. Not the evil but all that is helpful. And this is what I wanted and this is what I found. amen.
 
He resurrected and then came back. So there's that for you.

Jesus was a historical figure that has been documented by secular historians, so we do know that he was born here on earth. What we don't know is if he was more than a human, was resurrected etc.
So he was not extra-terrestrial by definition. Extra-terrestial means born on a planet other than earth. "Extra" from the Latin root for 'outside of' Terrestial from the Latin root Terra meaning "earth"
 
Well if someone comes from rotten seed. Then make your own family and rise above. Right.
With Faith and Prayers for Protection.
 
To alter the environment of (a celestial body) in order to make capable of supporting terrestrial life forms.
