I have no guns, haven't even held an operational one, but that's probably because I grew up in an household that didn't own guns and live in a state where a lot of people don't own legal guns. I do own a cheap pellet/BB gun, though. Bought that pellet gun when I was adult, but I remember watching my cousin shoot his pellet gun and show his father's loaded rifle and pistol.
I've thought about going target shooting just to fire a gun at a target at least once in my life, but to be honest, those shooting ranges kind of scare me. It just takes one nutjob there with a chip on his shoulder to shoot up the place, or a kid whose parent hasn't taught them how to properly shoot for the gun to to kick back from recoil and hit someone.
That being said, I have absolutely no problem with people owning legally registered firearms as long as they are responsible.
