For me, my passion revolves around animals. I love dogs, I've grown up up with them as my best friends and I want to spend my life enriching and learning about them.
What is yours?
I have several things i am passionate about. Parrot rescue and how full they are and how few supporters there are donating to them.
I also have a huge passion for treatment for addicts and why there is such a limited number f places out there to offer treatment to those addicts who have limited to no insurance. Treatment facilities that will treat longer then 7 days places that cover helping those in treatment to learn how to live life again live life not immediately needing something as soon as their feet hit the floor in the morning and places that will help those in treatment to be able to be social and learn how to not feel they have to always be on a hustle these type things. Just learn how to be "normal" in their day to day activities work go to school care for their families etc.
The government is so quick to lock up an addict for a syringe and cooker and clog up the court system and not really help anyone because the person will go to court and get a STET and off they go.So why not write a ticket and offer papers on going to treatment Maybe even have enough treatment that a officer can actually give that addict a ride to a center instead of that addict going in filling papers and being told to call back weekly which most know rarely ends up with an addict using that bed.
Why is it people would rather wait until they can say their is a epidemic he numbers have grown for heroin use we must become active in ending it and n their minds that means locking up all they come into contact with. Why do they not deal with Prevention and wok to actually doing something to Help end the situation r take a large chunk out of it and not just put people on the court merry go round
Sorry as stated i am passionate
Sounds strange but it's learning about what consciousness is, and why we're here. I think obsessively about this all day. This is why I'm studying pharmacology (to me it's fascinating how one can change their entire perception with just a few micrograms of of a drug, learning about this is a possible key to learning what consciousness is), write a lot with the intention of one day getting published, and love to learn about everything from the history of philosophy, to chemistry and genetics.
Most people seemingly never bother stopping for a bit and realizing just how much of a headf*** it is that we even exist in the first place. What the hell is this reality? What are these "people"? Are we space junk or infinite beings all connected by a common consciousness? What is the point?
In other words, my passion is trying to stay sane.
