What is your groups smoking routine?

i guess i don't have enough of a group anymore to have a routine. if i'm smoking with other people, it's almost always just one or two people, and everyone likely has their own bud. whoever packs it starts it (although i often find that the second hit is better than the first), and we're close friends so nobody's free-loading.

a lot of it is also that, if i'm being social, alcohol is more of a priority than weed. the group activity is drinking . . pot kinda happens later when you and one or two other dudes are winding down for the night kickin it.

have to agree with you on the drinking. a lot of parties have heavy drinking and it starts early in the night but then once everyones out of it is the perfect time to smoke a couple bowls and just relax

Alot of my friends are like that too when it comes to parties.. Personally though, I like to blaze all throughout the night.
 
oh right, the usual thing (seeing as pretty much everyone i know that smokes smokes inside and doesnt have to deal with any parental issues) is that whoever has weed (literally if you have it, you have to pitch in or you will be crucified for being cheap, if you dont have it then no worries) puts in some amount, whatever feels appropriate into the coffee grinder or, on the sad occasion, the bowl and someone gets scissoring. i hate smoking big chunks of bud, i like it to burn smoothly. then after the chop, its always either bong or a bucket, or a vaporiser or whatever, always to the left unless were just totally baked and its at the stage where rejecting your turn becomes a legitimate option.

usually around that stage, i will end up rolling some sort of double king size paper spliff (my favourite) to cap it off nicely. i suppose when we were younger it was basically the same, just with much smaller amounts of weed, but these days when we have it sharing is the number 1 priority. its not that easy to get around where i live lately, and everyone i smoke with regularly is a close friend so i think its more about the social aspect when were smoking together. on the odd occasion i have seen people refuse to pitch in, then seen them pull out weed later after already getting stoned on other peoples that they have shared. this results in a pretty quick lesson or just an automatic gtfo, depending on who it is. seriously tho, stoners who dont share should be shot imo.

he packs it, offers someone greens, then whoever takes a hit. I feel bad though, I never buy weed, so I never contribute. I need to bring a sack more often.
 
Our routine is pretty simple, really. It all depends on where we're at. If I'm at work, either I, or my boss will go in the back room, roll a joint, then go smoke in the basement. But, if it's with friends...


We all throw down on a blunt, and then whoever rolled it, gets to spark it. And then it's passed to the right. Always. And we just continue to smoke until we're where we want to be. Simple, eh?
 
Me and my homies usually call each other meet up maybe bdubs house a homie or local provider if you will we'd usually bring our own blunts our own sacks but if I don't have bud my homie bdub willl pack me massive bowls or we'd just spark up the blunt it's usualy the person who brought the sack who gets to roll it no roller rights " everyone always wants to roll the blunt now' a days." we'll session maybe keep sessioning go out for a ciggerate come back in play xbox 360 or just watch tv really high it just depends on which group of friends you're with I guess.:)

Drive my car to a suitable destination with some friends. I whip out a bowl, papers, roach tabs and a pointy sea shell which I use conveniently as a stoker for bong smoking or as a way to pack a fat point - Perfect.

Then there's the age old rule of giving the first bong to the chopper.
I roll a joint, have 4 decent puffs, then pass it back and forth.
 
If I got bud, I'll meet up with a few friends and get somebody to buy a blunt, then I let someone roll it and we'll go smoke on the city steps or in this abandoned building. Depending on the amount of people, (1 gram per 4 people gets you pretty high, I prefer 2 though) ,

But! I'm not smoking with anybody until someone smokes me up, tired of supplying the bud :X

I'm about to get some really potent shit and its going in my pipe though.
 
^ Agreement, that seems agaisnt stoner culture.

Our oddest rule is that we do NOT make anyone sit out -ever-, regardless of financial situations or if they have a cold (obviously some exceptions are made, like if they have airborne herpes :P). Weed is about the experience and the friendships you can share, not hording it for yourself! Smoking alone is nice, but it's nothing compared to sharing with close friends.
 
I agree that it is stoner culture to share, but really, I've been supplying 80% of the bud for my group for about a year now (there's 4 of us) and I'm getting sick of it. I have more contacts than the others, but still, they could at *least* chip in... Very rarely do I get any $, and even rarer is a simple "thankyou". And I don't get greens unless I specifically request it!!

Perhaps this is deemed "un-stoneresque" but people need to learn basic ganja etiquette !!
 
it depends who i'm chillin with, tho i haven't smoked with anyone for a long time.... i kinda miss it

are these people actual friends? no thank yous? no money offers? everyone says thank you for free weed or they get no more! unless its an innocent mistake, and its pretty obvious when thats the case. after all, i still say thank you to people who offer me weed, even if the reality of it is that they owe me about 5 ounces.
 
We usually congregate on the couch at my friend's house in front of her huuuuge ass TV, load a bowl and smoke that shit! Sometimes we throw on an "alternative movie" like The World According to Monsanto or something similar, just sit around and talk or go kick it in her pool. On occasion, we end up making out or watching porn, but only after a few drinks :D
 
Well, me and a few friends sit in a circle, inside normally, but if we have a nice spot in the woods or something and its nice, outside. Lately we've been really into blunts. So we make some long and fat and slow burning blunts. our biggest was 3 grams, and we couldn't finish it after a half hour! We play some music quietly. if you haven't picked music in a while you pick it, but we don't change it that much while until we're done smoking. I prefer Dylan or Incredible string band, and if Im feeling up for it some devo or rolling stones' their satanic majestic request... yes.... The person who bought the weed gets the first hit, and then we pass it around in a circle. If its not a blunt, its usually just a piece, or occasionally one of those big ass glass bongs. We like to take our time and smoke a lot. And while we're smoking we just chill and talk, but when we get really into it its just silence, and the bud goes around a group of 6 people in about 30 seconds! i like when that happens. After that we just hang out, play music, listen to music, eat, talk, watch youtube videos, drink, walk around, and if its nice we bike. Thats the best. Bikes n' blunts!
 
A typical session for my pals and I goes something like this:

We get to the place we chill at (either a quiet street, someone's house, car, etc.) and hang out for a couple of minutes. We tend to go on tangents as it is and we usually don't start until someone reminds the group, "Hey, weren't we gonna get high?" Whoever it is that has bud packs the bowl, if more than one person has weed (usually different strains because we each buy in bulk) we mix. Each bowl usually consists of 2-3 strains. Once it's packed, we ask who wants greens, and usually goes to whoever that wants it (our group is actually pretty generous so it's rare to hear someone say "I'll take 'em" unless they've had a long day lol. We usually smoke out of our bong (name The Hulk 2.0 since the first one got crushed in a car accident :|) Usually pass in a clockwise rotation and keep going in that direction until everyone is good. Then we either completely forget what we were doing and talk about the randomest shit or we scadoosh somewhere else or go get some grub lol.
