I kinda like Heroin and Oxycontin the same.. but I really enjoy Poppy Pods because of the length of the high... 10 hours+ :) But it doesn't give me as much euphoria as OC or Heroin ...

I suspect oxycodone will win, with heroin in second place.
 
Looks like oxycodone is kicking butt, but the results will likely be off some, as there are probably a number of people like me who haven't tried anything stronger. Fun poll nonetheless.
 
Partykid, what are your thoughts on using poppy pods for pain relief? Have you ever used them for this purpose?
 
Well I never really had very much pain or anything... but I do have back pains sometimes (at least once a week) and for a time I was doing poppy pods about 3-4 times a week and my back wouldn't hurt anymore... I don't know how they would work on chronic pain though.. probably not that much.
 
Ive tried virtually opiate/opiod, but I have to go with fentanyl or fentanyl derivatives. Sure the duration is short (IV), but so is oxycodone. Alpha-methyl fentanyl is the best opiod ive tried so far.
 
^^ I agree, fentanyl is great, ,but is short. Personally, I really like hydrocodone in high doses. I wish they made it in 100mg pills or something :)

Heroin.
I used to say my favorite combo was a couple of percocet and a shot of vodka. But that was before I discovered heroin. Maybe if we lived in different times my vote would be opium, but I've never had a really satisfying opium experience (smoking, plugging, eating, whatever). As for oxy, there is no romance to pharmaceutical opioids, crushing pills, lying to doctors for scripts, or paying nutty prices on the street. Plus smack is way cheaper than oxy where I come from. Why settle for synthetic when the real deal is just down the corner?

Wow, Im amazed that not more people have said Hydromorphone. In my opinion, Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) is definetely most euphoric. Although, if I was going for a nice long lasting nod-out, I'd cut some poppies. Anyone feel the same?
 
You're not alone, I knew a guy who absolutely swore by Dilaudid, but I've also heard from people that say it does little for them in the way of euphoria.

I guess it's a pretty individual thing :)

Omnopon as a pre=med though I have no idea what your US equivalent is.
But then I've never had pure diamorphine...
 
Most of my opiate use has just been good ol' codeine, but I've also tried heroin and hydrocodone on a few occasions (not experienced with them).

Not surprisingly, the heroin was my favorite out of those three, but the vicodin certainly kicked my ass too :)

Codeine is the most familiar to me, and probably the feeling I most associate with opiates, but of course it's far from being the most euphoric!

Well, you always have the risk of getting pulled over while in the city or buying from an undercover. This happend to me the last time I went down to get some Heroin on the streets of Baltimore...The dealer was handing me 3 vials and a cop pulled up from behind .. of course they ran, we threw the vials out the window .. but luckly we had some cool ass fucking cops.. didn't get arrested, but I much rather go through the trouble of getting an Oxy than going through dealing with the cops.

Um, heroin--to which I assume you are refering--is a partially-synthetic opioid.

As for the vote:

I chose oxycodone. I've tried heroin and Fentanyl, and I really like them. But, I tend to nod more on those than oxy, so I find oxy more euphoric overall. I really don't like falling asleep on opiates. I love the euphoria, but I don't find the appeal in nodding. With oxy, I'm euphoric, but I can still move around pretty easily. That really swayed the choices for me.
