I posted this in DS because some of these memories hold the roots to our whole life.

Mine is when my little sister was born. I was 3 years old, i got a tractor from the gift shop, thought it was awesome.

I also remember opening my first can of coke and being so impressed with myself :)

what are some of yours?

For the darker side; I remember freaking out before school and refusing to go while my mom battled with me, i had bad anxiety as a kid.

Picking up a cigarette that my father had thrown and copying my dad and trying to smoke it, and being caught by my mother and beaten.

The smell of leaves burning in my backyard, how cold it was, one of our dogs running around...

I remember playing in the sun with a cat we had named Elmer. My mom said I couldn't have been more than 3 yrs old cuz of when Elmer used up his 9th life.
Went thru some bad illness before I started school, like 4 yrs old, and vividly remember hallucinations from fevers during that time. Scared the hell out of me.
I remember the day reading really clicked, too, was a fantastic day.

My dad teaching me how to read at a very young age when I was 2 or 3. Or he recognized I could read early and taught me more.

^cool memory, i did the same for my little brother when he was that age; we got frustrated but eventually worked it out lol. Now he's 12 and I correct his grammar all the time.

he doesn't really remember those good times from 2-3 years old we had tho, playing gta iii lol and then vice city, not to mention massive amounts of pokemon.

Heh the earliest videogames I remember were on Atari and that was when I was 5. I also remember the games on the Commodore 64, and DOS games.

i remember playing pong, ninja turtles on nes and there's a character named baxter i think, well i said bastard and my dad had a talking to me lol.

Walking in the restroom at preschool while a little boy was urinating. Walking past the red, yellow, and blue of the playground tunnels, past the sand, and into an area closed carelessly with a tan door and small child's appendage hanging out. I didn't feel bad for seeing his 'weiner', and remember intentionally standing there to inspect said 'weiner'. A powerful voice from within told me that the strange growth I was staring at was a very impactful force of nature. I stood there relentlessly staring—half in shock—half trying to figure out what the allure was—enitrely aware that I should probably shut the door. The little boy looked at me as though I was supposed to close the door. I didn't. I believe the teacher either closed it, or the boy himself. I felt disenchanted. I knew I was too young to have seen a 'weiner', and I didn't like the fact that I did. Not for sexual reasons, although I did like both boys and girls at a very young age, but because I knew I couldn't value the 'weiner' at such a young age. That my initial impression was not what the weiner was all about, hahah.

My 3rd birthday party.

My grandma had knit me a special doll which I still have to this day. I remember the excitement, my blue and white lion king cake, running up and down the stairs waiting for everyone to show up, and how happy I was.

I remember being in my cot and throwing a tantrum and crying to get my parents' attention. I remember kicking my legs through the bars of the cot and them getting stuck, and I distinctly remember the 'oh fuck' moment and stopping crying because I needed all my attention to focus on that problem, haha.

i also remember picking up a cig that my dad tossed to the ground and took a drag and puked my guts out ha and i turned out to be a smoker anyways
