What is the point of life, when there is no ultimate goal?
I understand that religious people all have a goal in life, right?, going to heaven, enlightenment, blah blah blah. Others have the goals of getting married and starting a family to carry on there heritage and what not.
But for an atheist, like myself, is there any preset goal to life?
I believe it is fairly obvious that complete understanding of ones conciousness is a goal, but it is fairly unrealistic...
Anyway, maybe my eyes are closed today... Either way, can someone give me a meaningful goal in life... (other than something I could work towards, or achieve) The natural goal of life.
