I have a bulding disc and get pain down my leg (sciata) as well as back spasms, uppr back and muscles. Indica is good for those times when you need to seriously kill the pain. But if u want general pain relief but still able to function i find that sativa does just as well. This is in regards to smoking, eating and vapourising will give good if not better longr lating medicinal value.
The main difference i find is that with sativa, u will still feel some the pain but your mind and body doesnt car about it anymore. You are to happy and distracted to care. Which i find is one of the biggest factors when u experince pain 24/7. You just want the pain to subside for a while so your mind can get a rest!
Your body will be so much better off without meds. I was taking prscription annti-inflamatorys and those things fuck up your stomach and bowls no matter how careful you are with them. I would us thm at work and then use MMJ at home. I know people say MMJ makes u paranoid/othr physcological effects, but longer term use of these prescription meds are just as bad and bring on the same if not more symptoms.
You will also find your body will suffer from withdrawal of your pain meds. MMJ can help with this too! But definatly research any drug u are currently taking and see what kind of withdrawal symptoms your will get from it. Doctors dont like to tell you about them when they prescribe them, so be prepared and understand that 'headcold' is not really a cold at all.
