What is spice?

I used to smoke spice on a regular basis and now won't touch the stuff at all anymore. It became an obsession that pretty much destroyed my relationship with the love of my life. I was scared by how quickly this shit took over me.

Wow I'm sorry to hear that man.

Out of curiosity, did you experience similar feelings/actions/words when using regular Cannabis or was it just with Spice?

I've never experienced it with weed, I was always content with the fact that when it was gone, it was gone and I could quite happily continue without it for a good long while. With spice however, I just had a major compulsion to spend money hand over fist to stay high. One of the most horrible experiences of my life. It was just so horribly addictive for me.

I'm still trying to sort myself out personally, so that I can undo the damage that I did to my relationship.

That's good to know it doesn't happen with weed man, at least you still got that in your corner!

I've been smoking spice products (mostly Arctic synergy) for closing in on half a year now daily I believe. ( I had to quit cannabis abruptly after being a daily smoker for 8+years)

For me, I couldn't deal with having no weed and spending tons of money on QP's of haze strains and just smoking all day every day.

With spice products I smoke daily but I find I can actually moderate myself better with the spice and I usually only smoke once at the end of a long day to unwind. However, I sometimes have 2-3 sessions in a day on the weekends.

Everyone's different I guess. Did you experience any withdrawal symptoms when you stopped the spice? I took days off to see if I got any symptoms but felt nothing which makes me think it's just a rumor but your input could help clarify if it causes physical dependence or not.

Yes, I did experience withdrawal symptoms. I got no sleep for a week, epic cravings, depression and extreme irritability.

I must say though, from my experience of the spice products, the regular blends (Gold & Diamond) kept me higher for much longer than the Tropical or Arctic Synergies. I would find myself rolling another joint after about an hour with those, whereas with the regular blends, I would be going about 5 hours between.

Yup each blend has a different chemical structure so it affects everyone differently.

Myself, I found Diamond to do NOTHING for me. I smoked almost the whole 3g pouch one night and really didn't feel what I was expecting. Arctic to me is what Diamond is to others I guess lol.

I agree though once you start smoking the synergy, the more you want to keep it going ya know, I agree 100% on that. I found joints to be a waste and was killing my wallet. I found a bong more effective both for effects and for conserving.

I use a lot of Smoke XXX now which I found to be great and long lasting with a great "sativa" element to it.

Those withdrawal symptoms seem pretty severe, when I get time off from my routine's I will try a week C/T trial to see what I experience. Doesn't sound like fun :(

They certainly weren't a barrel of laughs, I can tell you. Towards the end, I gave up on rolling joints and just went to packing my bong instead, but I would still find myself "topping up" with frightening regularity. I'm just glad that I've got that period of my life behind me now, so that I can focus on making things right again.

I would rather kill my wallet than kill my mind. I'm tellin you right now...you have no idea what you're smoking. This spice could be real bad for ya in the long run. I guess you'll find out. Me....I have plenty of real bud to last me until next harvest. I've been smoking real bud for a long time and just look how I turned out...pretty kick ass if you ask me!
