What is Molly?

I really did learn a massive amount about G, but it mainly came from my own reckless experiences. I'm just glad it helped someone! Those threads should be read by medical professionals, because the amount of data in there, from everyone who posted in them, is pretty astounding. The main point in being here is for HR reasons, it's just a huge bonus when the place is busy and lively. There's hope.

You looked after those threads and cared for the people who posted in them. Often people in distress. Everyone knows you did but so far no one had given you the credence or acknowledgement for it <3 As a G user - I say thank you X.

You are right the medical profession need to learn more about drugs like this. I've told my psychiatrist all about BL - he's all ears and taking notes. I'm impressed by his learning! However, when the forum is full of shallow bull shit how are these people supposed to find their way around it and get the real drug HR out of it? I think BL has lost its way a bit. The place I first go to find about a new drug is Drug Forum...I know, I know I'm a bad girl. But its so much easier to find info there. It's main focus may not be HR like BL but lets face it we're not always great at that are we...

It's been super chatting with you Treacle. It's been too long <3

TBF EADD is a bit more "special" as you well know than other sub-forums. We have a more social side in EADD but BL as a whole can be quite specialist. I'm certainly impressed that your doc is taking an interest in BL. It's not the first time I've heard of doctors taking upon themselves to look into things like this. If you're to diagnose a person you first need to understand what it is they're taking and how it affects "most" people.

I only wish more doctors would take the time to educate themselves on RC's and the like. Sounds like you've got a good doc.

Cheers, Kate, that means a lot that my whole fuck-up wasn't a completely pointless adventure (albeit a fucking fun one, at times). Yeah, I had a drugs counsellor that I taught a thing, or two. It's nice to be listened to by someone trained in that area. Yeah, I know what you mean about BL, but EADD has always been mainly social, with threads full of HR dotted about (as Sadie just pointed out). Hopefully a lot of that stuff is archived, so people can search and find it.

Yes, very nice to talk to you, as usual. I shall try and keep my attendance up. ;)

Agreed about medical professionals learning more about drugs (in general), Sadie. It's scary how little some know. My sister is an ICU nurse, and she doesn't know much about drugs, or how to treat certain cases, beyond smack ODs, etc. She did manage to wake me up, when I passed out from G, once, which I was very impressed with, but a sternal rub would wake the fucking dead.

Nah, really? I have read posts on there regarding chemicals if I have googled something before trying for the first time etc, but it is always BL for me first and foremost. Erowid was a first port of call a long time ago, but I hardly use it nowadays. The whole SWIM thing in Drugs Forum is a pain in the tits, the funnier they try to be the less funny they come across. All forums no matter what the subject is will have its fair amount of drivel, I like BL because over the years, even at times when not posting, there are names that pop up whose opinions I value, whose opinions I trust.
