What is low dose pharmahuasca like compared to low dose LSD?

I think he means that low-dose point where psychedelics are just some really nice stims (~50ug with lsd). Not sure why you would take an MAOI if that is your goal, and there's a good chance harmaline would interfere a bit, but surely it must be comparable to low-dose mushrooms.

IME, phenethylamines serve this purpose better. The headspace just works out better, and with 25c-NBOMe for example you get an almost empathogenic-like euphoria. I did find 4-Aco-DMT to be a nice sit-down and enjoy type of drug in low doses, but in the end wasn't really worthwhile for me (cost, tolerance interferring with real trips) to continue using that

Oral DMT doesn't really work as a light dose stim. Only lasts a couple of hours and it can make you vomit. But give it a try if you want. Seems a bit of waste of DMT tho.

Yeah, neither is low-dose 4-Aco-DMT which I know some have likened to Aya at higher doses(never done the latter, shamefully). Kind of hard to describe what it is like. It's a lot like low-dose LSD, but really it's nothing like low-dose LSD. At 8mg there's that weight in your body, a perceptual shift and some euphoria. Loved it when it was >30˚C outside, but again LSD and phenethylamines seemed more worthwhile.

-husaca has a very good reputation. I have a desire to use a psychedelic frequently and -huasca seemed like the most appropriate one because there's little to no tolerance issue with it.

So you're looking for a light trip (~100ug LSD) rather than a weird alternative for cannabis/a stim/light-euphoriant or something? Well if you do proceed then please let us know. Might get on moclobemide soon because of reasons, so a little more detail on frequent use of oral DMT might be in check.

I've found there's a tolerance with oral DMT - quite a strong tolerance. Once a month is about all I can get good effects from it.

Hmm, well that's weird. Did do a search for tolerance, but those on the DMT-Nexus (invaluable for anything DMT-related this site) say there is absolutely none. Did any of that tolerance interfere with other psychedelics?

Yeah I've heard that too - heard of guys in the rainforest who take it 40 times in 40 days but I notice a very powerful tolerance for the psychedelic effects. If you take it one week and then take it again the week after it's nowhere near as psychedelic. Perhaps I'm the odd one out or I'm noticing it more.

This is with oral DMT and moclobemide.

What is tolerance for you with vaporized or IV'ed DMT? Doesn't make sense to me that with the one ROA it has extreme tolerance and with the other no tolerance at all, and it can't be the moclobemide either (it has a little bit of reverse tolerance from what I've read)

I've never quite mastered any other art of taking DMT any other way but orally. Perhaps it's because the oral method lasts for hours rather than a few seconds.

I can't see that your brain can simply keep creating psychedelic effects for hours on end with the same intensity day after day, surely you get some kind of tolerance. I mean it works like that with anything in life - if you had sex with Marilyn Monroe 10 times a day by the second day it wouldn't be the same as the first time. You always experience some kind of tolerance don't you?

I suppose we need someone who takes ayahuasca and doesn't get any tolerance from it.

So what I was wondering is LSD is said to be especially neutral in terms of psychedelia. It just removes a filter. They say it's particularly good for analysis and intellectual pursuits. I'm tempted to think this is just LSD romanticism. Yes, mushrooms are well established as being dreamy/chaotic, to sum it up, but I would imagine that psychedelic drugs other than mushrooms are just as good for analysis/psychotherapy/intellectuality. And I'm particularly interested in DMT because of the fact that there's little to no tolerance issue.
