what is love?
have you ever seen the shimmering ocean on a wonderful day
a rolling river swallowing the sunbeams and then reflecting them back at you,
a commone sight, but different when u are in a deep unity of happiness
the more appropriate question becomes
what is love withdrawal?
just a cold damp room
a 24-hour shiver with a 24-hour regret
a door locked from the inside, can you believe it
and the memories work their way around the barred windows and light the salty puddle
in the middle of your crypt
more reflections...
speak to me thru my locked existance, and i yet again speak to you
you are free, you are happy, it just happened to be from me... again
and the days are numbered until i'm let out
but the shimmering ocean, and the sunbeams, just more reflections
with your face in them, and so i take a drink...
the salt rips through my tongue and scratches my throat
my once moist lips of another person's saliva is dry
what can i say
i miss you
and i will never know again,
if you miss me...
i wanted answers
and then i wanted closure
and now i just want back to the beginning...
every strand of hair on my head, is the times i'd take u back
and until every hair on my head is gone, they wont carry away my memories of love
