What IS it?

OK! Question, for you people...
My friend has some shit he calls speed. I don't know what it is. It's white, elongated pill. It has "44-344" written on it. It's also got a split in the middle on one side.
Any ideas? I havent the faintest. I've done em' once and they are definately not: Adderall, Ritalin or Dexedrine.
I'm curious. They worked. I ate 4 in 2 hours and was *tweaked*.
