What is everyone's issue?

Amen. My cousin is this way with pipes! He's used MDMA heavily for about 10 yrs (-1 year break recently due to a prison stint for getting busted 2x for POM 5-50lbs) and he just got a hold of pipes recently after he got outta prison. He told me he got these "badass rolls that last 12 hours and make you trip", his "new favorite". I explained to him they are not real ecstasy but a cheaper substitute drug that is similar but different, and he understood. He said he still likes em > MDMA, so yea there's even old school uninformed ravers who like pipes more for those reasons.
 
Ive read this thread and my question to every single user on this thread is this. How do you all know what is in your pills? Do you own a test kit? Or do you "think" you know what is in them. Because if you just think you know what chemical is present I am going to half to agree with everyone on PillReports, in the sense that you really have no idea what is in your pills. The likelihood that you know the chemist making these are maybe upwards of 1 in 10,000,000 so someitmes when people try and offer advice on whats in your pill read what they have to say and see whats up.
 
^ To answer your question: I don't own a test kit, though I have in the past, and it doesn't keep me from taking pills that were not tested. I don't «think» I know what's in them anyways, I just take the risk and keep doses low. All advice or experience sharing is good, but as far as harm reduction goes it is not that useful imo.
The reports written by people who have not tested the pills they're reporting on belong to a «trip report» section. The actual pill-testing reports are way more important; they can really open your eyes as to what kind of substances are in circulation in your area, at what purity, etc... To be honest I wouldn't even allow reports by non-testers, as they can just write a trip report on Erowid instead if they want to share their experiences.

I have a test kit... but even then you can't be 100% sure JUST on the test results with the MDMA/piper combo pills on the market right now (altho with experience you should be able to see some characteristic test results of this type of pill too, its just harder because you have to look at the reaction more carefully instead of just saying "oh it turned purple" or "it didnt turn purple".

Lots of the piper pills have been on http://www.ecstasydata.org , an invaluable resource that complements pillreports nicely - if you can find a pill there from your region you can see what its exact chemical contents were! Not as comprehensive, but most of the biggest pipe stamps seem to show up on there. Also its not perfect either since the same stamp can show up with different contents.

But also a lot of reports on pillreports just lack enough detail to be useful or are written by someone who may lack knowledge on the subject. You have to evaluate each one for its credibility yourself, and there's positively a ton of bullshit posted there every week, dealers and people who just don't know what they are talking about. But the good reports are worth sorting through all the bad, and the community there is absolutely extremely helpful.

Naw, he had it coming, I have done a couple of the 'rolls' he has spoken about, I also own a test kit, never posted anything on PR though, each time Mecke and Marquis turned dark purple, I wanted to call some of it Royal Purple, and Simons turned very blue before the pill even touched it I thought.

Super speed bombs, I told him they were probably just pressed with enough MDMA to fool a test, would need a few to really roll and it wouldn't have been worth all that speed IMO.

Anyway, just thought I would stop by and at least say:

1. He is a retard.
2. Thank you for telling him he 'rolls' too much, as I am a little worried he is becoming a speed head with all of the great "E" he does.

But I will stick up for him and say he doesn't lie when he says they aren't Pipes, he has done them on purpose with me so he knows what they are, however, he is wrong when he purports everything around here to be clean, pipe bombs are around but the majority here are speeders, and truly clean pills are hard to come by, about two different clean ones every month or so to every 15 fake ones or combos.

Not trying to cause anymore trouble for his ass, just thought I would have a chuckle and then a nice "I told you so" moment to myself since he needed to hear it somewhere else to believe it.
