What is Amsterdam's policy on MDMA?

I read... in Drugs in the Media actually, a few months ago that they were considering bringing in cards for residents so they can be distiguished from tourists so as to stop tourists from buying weed. Not sure if its gona be done. I doubt they would do something like that. Think of the what the tourism does for their economy!

why would they want to do that? first, it's discrimination. Second, the main reason people goto amsterdam is for the drugs and pussy. they would lose alot of tourist and monies if this was to happen. thank god it won't!

yeah, you'll have a great time if you know that amsterdam is all about partying, drugs and pussy. pick your combo! the red light district is just full of fine looking ladies. the smart shops and coffee shops got a ton of fun drugs for cheap! the clubs are kicking, but you need to go with locals to trance clubs as they do not allow foreigners of any kind(they say it ruins the vibe). other than that, go visit anne franks house. that's about it, have fun!

Well, because other countries are putting pressure on Holland.. Do you really think the government overhere wants to loose a great deal of money? Neighbour countries (especially Germany) just don't like the fact that thousands of people daily come to Holland to visit a coffeeshop. Next year we'll see if they're going through with the whole plan or not. They're going to see if extra border controls are effective enough to stop German people from going to coffeeshops and bringing back weed..
