Not that I'm thinking of going on suboxone but I took that COWS test just for shits and grins. According to that, I'm on a mild withdrawal for coming up to the 48 hour mark. What does that mean? I'll feel better tomorrow?
COWS stands for Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale.
You shows you what stage you are in acute withdrawal.
COWS is mostly for suboxone induction to see if you can take suboxone without going into PWD.
There is a COW sheet available online, I'm not sure if it's the same as SOWS but it also helps figuring out self-inductions for individuals that obtain Suboxone not from a doctor and needs a guide to when they should take it without going thru PWD.

I see what you're saying about the suboxone and why the COWS would be useful, but the questions are designed for a doctor to answer. The SOWS questions are formulated for lamen to answer.
