What if you take both an inducer and an inhibitor of an enzyme?

I took a one off dose of fluoxetine on Monday
.....

Out of curiosity (if you don't mind me asking! ;) :) ), why did you take a once off dose? I know a lot of SSRI's are prescribed for off-label uses (I personally wouldn't advise taking such a strong drug for some of off-label uses :\ lol) however. :)

Regardless, after a week the fluoxetine will be pretty much completely expelled! :)

....
I've seen a few people mention that promethazine induces 2D6, but out of the many substrate/inhibitor/inducer charts I've seen for Cytochrome P450, not one of them says anything about this. Do you have a source?
....

I have heard this also. But also with no sources to back it up :\

Ethanol plus codeine is synergistic for more reasons than the enzyme inducing activity of ethanol.

+1, which is why it's (most) commonly used to potentiate codeine (imo)

Out of curiosity (if you don't mind me asking! ;) :) ), why did you take a once off dose?

Well, I was taking it daily (for plain old depression) until about 3 and a half weeks ago when I decided it wasn't working and stopped taking it (also it was stopping me from taking codeine!). Then, in a methoxetamine induced fit of euhoria, I decided to start taking it again. Waking up and realising you're not going to be able to enjoy your favourite part of the day for a week is quite the hangover :(

Also, I am indeed discovering that alochol is synergistic with codeine for more than potentiation of CYP2D6 :)

That's right. However basically you've got to weigh up your choices of where you want your life to lead...

1, Continue taking the AD (generally you'll need to have taken them for 4 weeks until you see markable changes) and having a lessened effect of other drugs (codeine for example).

or

2, Stop taking the AD so you can get a decent high (of previously said drugs) however having the comedowns which will make you feel even worse.

Like I said, this is your decision, no one else can make it for you. But personally (and I'm assuming the depression/anxiety/what ever it is for you to be prescribed the SSRI in the first place you're experiencing is such to an extent that it's a must) I'd choose option 3 - cut out all drugs (even if it's just for two months!) and take your course of AD. Then, once it's taken you out of the (metaphorical, deep, dark) black hole, you'll be able to make a rational decision as to which/how much/when/why/etc. drugs you want to take.

Just my 2c's there. Pleases disregard if you feel I've over stepped the boundaries! :)
