ok well i have to write a newspaper article 450-550 words for my english gr10(sec 4) class and the theme has to be someone left hanging but i just cant seem to think of anything good what helps you/motivates you to think of a storyline / scenario to write about when told to do a creative assignment?

write down your ideas in a list. by getting them out of your head you can see them more clearly. also, when you write them, more will come.

then prioritise them in terms of quality and pick one. if two are equally good, then it really doesn't matter which, flip a coin and run with the winner without hesitation or doubt.
