Can someone kindly point me in the direction of some good breaks online (like on youtube, for example)? They can be new or old. Back in the day, I used to like Rick West (Florida breaks), if that helps. Thanks in advance.

I've been loving Underthis:

My fav tracks would Hands on you, stay away, yesterday and back to roots. But heaps of others are awesome too.

Not really Florida style, but these guys are pretty awesome:

I'm not that knowledgeable on Florida breaks, but some of what I've come across is awesome, some is terrible.
This I really like:
BT - Communicate (PillFORM 2009 Remaster Mix)

also we have a thread for this

Was at a party on the weekend where a dj dropped a couple of breaks tracks, and it was great. Seemed like it was ages since I had last had a boogie to some breaks. Next day pulled out my breaks tunes, blew the dust off them and had a ball listening to all of them.

There is the site www.house-mixes.com where you can download sets for free. I prefer Nasty Cash's, but you can preview them all.

I've been through so many genre's of EDM, but all I listen to now is breaks. I spend time at the gym just to listen.

I fucking miss breaks!

Some of my favourite old breaks jams:
Bassnectar - Everybody (Freq Nasty remix)
Evil Nine featuring Aesop Rock - Crooked
Plump DJs - Mad Cow
Freestylers - No Replica
BT & Hybrid - Running Down the Way Up
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc (Stanton Warriors mix)
Deekline & Wizard - Ill Street Blues
Forme - Kick a Hole

Anything my Rogue Element, early NAPT stuff, General Midi, Ctrl Z.

That's it - I'm having a old school breakbeat hour of power starting now!

I don't know of any single 'breakbeat' producers anymore. I think producers make a track here and there, with popular breaks. The art of breakbeat/scratching is a pretty niche market these days.

Edit : At glance I caught the name Stanton Warriors. They don't exclusively produce breakbeat tracks, but that is a huge focus of their production. Check out some of Evil Nine's older tunes, and Adam Freeland. Again, not exclusively breaks, but they dabble a bit more than others.

I was going to suggest Stanton, too: https://soundcloud.com/stantonwarriors - some of the mixes on there might be worth your time...

not sure if they are to "edm" for you but "break science" is an awesome breakbeat electronic duo.

I miss seeing good breaks and turntablism at raves. I remember rolling hard at a rave in philly in like 01/02 and chilling at the DNB/breaks stage, out of nowhere DJ Qbert came on and proceeded to blow all of our minds. Best turntablist i have ever seen live.

one i found surfing youtube that i love....

and then the nu skool california style which never gets old for me
