I wonder about nitrous? quick onset, extremely short duration. great anxiolytic that could be self administered as needed. would probably need to maintain a sub-dissociative dose though.

It's funny that the guy went all the way to Colombia to get it since very closely related plants with very similar alkaloid content are found in backyard flower gardens quite often. I do have a foaf who was drugged in Caracas, Venezuela with the same or a closely related plant and was hospitalized for some time. The problem would be dosage since potency varies quite substantially even within cuttings off the same plant. Even with a pure sample, the dose response curve is dangerously steep. Although I do have a friend who has been adding Datura Strammonium (jimson weed) LEAF to his joints on occassion for decades and seems to do so without any serious problems.

FYI, I don't mean to give you a hard time, but the name of the nation Colombia, located in central America, does not contain the letter "U". This is something that can cause some central Americans to take as a sign of disrespect when people keep failing to learn how to spell the name of their country.
