what does Love feel like???

i dont think i am capable of feeling Love :/ ...how does Love feel like to you guys? so i can know if i have felt it or not...

is it the same as caring about someone? or is it something more? like... we say that we love our family members... but what does that mean? am i suppose to feel a certain type of way when i think of them? or does it just mean that i care about them a lot and that ther very important to me?... cuz like... i do care about them... and they are important to me... is that love?

i dunno...

what do you guys think?
 
Love cannot be defined in words..it is different for everyone.but il explain what i feel when im in true love with a girl.i see it as a kind of ego death..i care about the one i lovemore than myself (and i love myself alot lol)and i think of her happiness before my own..in fact her being happy makes me the happiest i can be.i accept what she has done and what she will do because i do not love her actions i love her true self

.just thinkin about her i get a warm tingly feeling over my body knowing i would do ANYTHING for her..i would easily give my life for her life if it came down to it...i would protect her no matter what the odds were or what was trying to cause her harm.id stand and defend her as long as im breathing..except if it was a giant spider

The english language does not do love credit because theres many types of love..the greeks had 6different words for 6 different kinds of love including: love of a friend,love from sexual passion ,long lasting love,love of self,playful love,and love for everyone..each had their own word to describe it but i dont remember what the words in greek are

from what i remember (i was in love four years ago), it feels way better than any drug, or anything else. it feels uplifting and you would do anything just to be with your lover. it drives you crazy when you are apart for too long, that's painful. it feels so good and so right just to be with your lover. each time you make love it's the best moment of your life, pure nirvana. when love ends, its so depressing and hurtful. nothing feels worse than a broken heart. when i got dumped by my lover i started using hard drugs to try to regain a good feeling, which worked in the short term but just caused problems eventually
 
ive heard infinite definitions of love. to me love is just a word that puts others words together. when you love someone you care about them, have a connection and attachment to them, desire them, and will sacrifice for them. i love someone to the point i would sacrifice literally anything a long as i could still have the relationship with her if you know what i mean. BUT whenever i hear a person say that they will put another persons happiness before their own, theyre either being cute or are lying to themselves. i would take a bullet for her but not for her happiness, for mine. ill give her everything and do everything to make her happy. but if it didnt make me happy...i would never do any of it. i make people happy because it makes me happy. i love to love and i love love and i love being loved. her love is the most important thing to me. does this give you a good perspective on love?

iv been with my girlfriend for like 8 months now and i never really felt a "connection" with her... i guess sometimes i did but the majority of the time i dont feel that... but i do care about her and i am attached to her...

like thers been a few times in our relationship that we were about to break up but i couldnt do it... i guess cuz we have been together for a while and she is my first girlfriend

i dunno if thats Love though :/ what do you guys think?
 
Its love if u want it to be..no one can tell u that its not love..love is like God in the fact that no one can tell u what u wanna believe it is

in one of my psych college classes we had to go around the room and explain why we thought we loved someone to show that feelings are all relative to the person experiencing them..everyone had different answers and no one could prove that thier love was anymore real than anothers

love to me is the feeling of being satisfied and comfortable with another person being involved in your life and who can trust with your dreams, life and secrets that you would not share with others, including other people who you would love (parents, relatives, close friends, etc.)

I was in love with my former gf, and we were in love for many years. I shared things with her that I wouldn't tell my best friends. its allowing yourself to become vulnerable to another person because of trust. this person has seen the best and probably worst of you. that's why you love them and why they love you
 
My idea of true love is when you find your soul mate no other will compare.so u never feel the need to cheat.I was always loyal to a fault.but I found out most other's are not this way. Its heartwrenching!

Would you sacrifice everything you own for them? Would you take a bullet for them? If they became brain damaged and weren't able to function, would sit with them and feed them? Would you clean up their shit and change their diapers when they are old? If they get early onset dementia, will you sit by their bed every day and hold their hand? Dedicate most of your time to making their last years on earth the best they can possibly be?

Make a list of every person you know. The people that you would do the above for, are the people you love.

I truly believe in everything that everyone has said. Everyone is capable of loving everyone. just depends on you being able to open those gates and bring down those walls guarding your heart.

love can have infinitely many forms, its not like this one exact thing that you magically achieve at some milestone in your life. if you care about people, you love them to some degree. you probably love a lot more people than you realize right now.
