⭐️ Social ⭐️ What do you think is the most drug city or state?

At least regarding ketamine, cocaine, and possibly psychedelics I would vote Denver Colorado.
I wonder if this is because it's legal to have mushrooms there and they do ketamine therapy as well. I think cocaine is the only drug not used for something there.

Just as an FYI. I went to the original site and found this blog. First, it's an editorial. Second, it was originally posted in July, 2022. This information is based on a research project they did themselves.
This is what it says about the project.

In this study, our team analyzed data for 51 metropolitan areas throughout the United States. Using city-specific data, we were able to rank each city for substance abuse based on the percentage of the population who has used that drug. Based on our findings, we compiled the information and created a weighted ranking for overall drug use that allowed us to rank US cities based on their cumulative rate of substance abuse.
So are they looking at arrests? Surveys?

I think that Denver Colorado is honestly and under-rated place for drug tourism.

I've partied in New York recently and Barcelona and Canada. My vote? For straight up drug tourism? Good old Denver!
If your into Weed, Michigan, grow 12 plants( more with a permit and business reasons) 2 1/2 Oz or 70 grams recreational, billboards advertising dispensaries.

All different price points and the huge variety of edibles. We have good stuff and strong cheap stuff and everything in-between.

There is alot of competition and coupons in the mail. Punch cards after 3 purchases, a free pre roll, after 6, 20% off and after 9 a free 1/8 th or a bag of gummie thc coins.

It does kinda( ok it does) suck here, unless you like the outdoors and head North where cabins are affordable to the middle class, on various and Great Lakes.

Also The bad areas of Detroit are disappearing, urban blight removal.
The per capita murder rate is still just as high as ever. Even though many former residential areas are turning back to nature.

The fact that so many people have gun carry permits means, the city is only really dangerous if your in a gang or involved in the drug trade, upto 70% of murders are drug or gang related. Then domestic, and street bs.

Not really dangerous in Detroit, but a lot of shitty high crime small towns.( jobs left and people got stuck here.

There is always this stuff about white flight. It is everyone flight now in Detroit.

My home value went up a lot( double the value, maybe more) Taxes went up also, by a lot.

only place ive found Lsd is the springs:( Denvers closer though so maybe I should go there. Do you think that this still applies today?
I'm not gonna help you source anything. It's not like you can walk around and buy LSD on the street. You still have to know people.

Eugene Oregon on the other hand :D

Can't speak for US cities but Bristol is probably one of the most drug friendly places I've been in the UK. Weed is practically decriminalised as far as consumption is concerned and within a couple of weeks of being there I'd met people who could hook me up with whatever I wanted.

I was a student and worked in a bar so that probably helped a lot. I expect other artsy studenty party towns outside London are similar tbh. Just follow the clouds.

Edit: I almost forgot the UKs first and only ketamine clinic opened in Bristol in 2021, but apparently it closed down in 2024 because of a shortage of patients.

I guess that's what happens when you try charging 6 grand a pop for ketamine therapy in what was already the (illicit) ketamine capital of the UK
