What do they cut H with?

One of the dealers i know cuts his with all the vitamins he doesn't take. Claims if he doesn't use the vitamins, might as well put them to a good cause. ;)

Most dealers know that a large portion of there clients are IV users, hence they use a cut that is soluble in water and that is safe (or relatively safe) for IV injections and possible for it to add a lil' extra to the heroin ex.: ,Doriden I can always tell when dopes been cut with this it brings added sleepiness to the high, usually noticable 1/2-3/4 hour after injection. Its not confused with the heroin sleepiness rather like a benydral sleepy.

You can often taste the different cuts...

Often some dope spots specifically cater to people that snort there dope, which makes me wonder what cuts they are using.

I have also seen premixed speedballs heroin cut with coke for sale on the streets, personally I like to be semi precise in mixing up my speedballs, I like it better when they sell 2 for 1's heroin and coke prepackaged separately. ahhh I could use one of those right about now, big shot of coke first, smoke a cig, another shot of coke, cig, shot of coke/heroin, relax...

Quinine is infact a very common cut, but this is usually done by the person manufacturing the heroin, not the dealer. So I agree with Phreex that the most common street cut is whatever the dealer has around that is of similar consistency, color, etc.

I sometimes add 50mg-75mg or so of quinine sulphate to my IV extracts of oxycontin or dilaudid, it seems to strenghten the rush and make the high better overall. It helps more of the drug to cross the BBB in a quicker fashion, resulting in good times.

But I do agree, most street dealers would not use quinine, because there are cheaper and more readily available cuts. Yet cuts from the manufacturer are likely to be more selective, like quinine, phenobarbital or even scopolamine (yes this was somewhat of an isolated incident).

umm negro your on 180mgs of methadone bro? whadda mean by your last post? you cant feel oxys or dilaudids on that high of a dose. not to flame, but cmon man.

kharma, I'm having a little trouble getting a fix on your posts and perspectives. You began by asking a fairly low-tech, easily researched question. You follow mid-thread with a brain-chemistry post and attachment, which indicates somewhat more interest or depth of research/experience than the original thread-starter connoted.

Posts are doubly difficult to interpret because we have no physical cues, so forgive me but...you creep the hell out of me. Something is not right here, and you either are not what you would appear, or have some other purpose. Law enforcement? Evangelism? You have some other agenda? I don't know. But something doesn't add. Sorry.

wait? what? did I do ? that makes me look shady, ive been on this board as goodkarma and know many mods here that know that I AM NOT a <3<3<3<3 or cop or associated with ANY law enforcement agency. Jumbo, explain yourself, just because i posted a low tech question and then posted a nice brain chem question which was NOT mine if you read there are quotes around it and it is my friend who wrote that... I am shady all of a sudden? please, enough.

Yea, I personally know kharma, and I don't understand why asking a simple question and an in depth one makes one look sketchy. Jumbo, how exactly do you come to this conclusion? I don't understand your logic.

It's not logic; it's intuition. But then neither can I say why some sort of deception would be used. Just a feel.

Yea scopolamine showed up in some street heroin around the great-lake area in the mid-90s... while i never came across it personally, according to erowid, it was a defenite occurance (300-some odd samples tested positive for scopolamine).

There were a number of hospital visits reguarding this issue as well. Its probably not a problem anymore seeing how most junkies don't want to get amnesia while they are insanely delerious... especially when they are lookin to score their next baggie..

Thus dealer's stopped adding scopolamine to increase bussiness, end of story.

Also, there is an unkown impurity/by-product/cutting agent found in certain heroin batches that can cause Leukoencephalopathy(a parkensin's-like disorder that is 9 times out of 10 irreversible and leads to death) when chased (smoked) repeatedly.

The exact chemical remains unkown, and is probably due to a sloppy street synthesis. None the less, these are also isolated cases and i wouldn't worry too much.

I don't think you're being shady in any way. I just think these "what is ____ cut with?" threads are shady in general. I don't think that we shouldn't talk about it, I think it's important for people to know what they could be putting into their bodies, but these threads could also be giving dealers that lurk this board new ideas on how to further rip people off, not to mention that narks :p are reading this.

Mannitol is a type of sugar that is used in orthodox medicine as an osmotic diuretic.

thanks crimson cloud.

I agree that this info should be put out there, but I don't think dealers who lurk this board are going to find new cuts to make more profit... If the dealer just wanted to make more profit, he would just cut it with whatever he felt like, brickdust or not.
