Council service

I am a BL user, and have actually given her this site and erowid for a more rounded look on drugs as her job does not need any prior experience/experties on the subject.

Basically I am seeing her on wednessday and would like to print out some information on the drug, but also the best way to withdraw from it so that I can give it to her and hopefully she canhelp lots of the other ppl that see her with that problem.

It is one of the only drugs I have never been addicted to so don't know much about the physical/mental WD problems. What would be good advice for her to give others? I am guessing tapering down as the obvious one, but while still using should vasodilators be taken with them? Any particular vitamins/supplements?

Then again as she is 'just' a councilor I am not sure if she can give health advice, but she can recommend that others read into things.

Thanks

no physical symptons, dont taper. id assume its like speed in terms of "withdrawal" all psychological.

Depends if they want to quit or not... if it's not affecting them in any way, i'd say leave 'em to it.

If they do want to quit, do as LSDMAMA&AMP says, drop it and leave it. A bit of mental self-control is all that should be needed.

Tapering won't really help -- that's to control withdrawal symptoms, and since you can't become physically dependant on meph, tapering wouldn't help.

My advice, having been though this, is for her to accept that she will feel completely SHIT for a week. Extended mephedrone abuse equals extended sleep deprivation and malnourishment at least, and probably other stuff too.

It is very difficult to lead a normal life during that week, mostly due to exhaustion I think. I tried many times during my meph abuse to stop, but ended up having another dose because I just couldn't cope with my day to day responsibilities without it. I'd tell her to take a week off lectures. She can catch up from notes, getting off meph is more important!

Supplements -- don't know if they helped, I took:
L-glutamine
L-tyrosine
Vitamin C
Vitamin B6
Multivitamin

I'd avoid l-phenylalanine, made the brain zaps worse for me.
