What did you do to get off your butt today? vs. "Butt's off the floor!"

Another tabata session with my trainer, far out.
I almost go to spew town every time :D

I went to the gym and did a lot of lifting on machines doing 2 reps of 15 on each one.

Then I came home and took a 15 min walk and I'll walk later tonight for 30 mins.

Unfortunately I now have a medical reason to be lazy again... Will the issues with my feet quit plaguing me already? Four years is long enough! Grr.

I think it was thujone who told me that drop-sets were going to humble me a bit. He was right. I tried them with cable and dumbbell fly, and then with some cable tricep kickbacks, and they really wore me out. I am going to try and do a few of these types of sets at the end of each workout at least for a few weeks.

That freaking sucks..I hate being injured. Can't you do other stuff that is easier on your feet?
Hiking, walking, and cycling are pretty much all I'm really interested in doing though... I've tried lifting weights (I own a very limited set), tried doing body weight exercises, tried yoga, ... Nothing sticks. Not to mention, I have three dogs that really should be walked at least every other day... :-/

It's not so much that I'm injured, btw. Imagine walking around with an "icy hot pad," cranked to "hot," glued to the bottom of your foot. It HURTS after not too long, and when I have to be on my feet during the day, all I wanna do when I get home is be off my feet!

Ouch =\ Is there something you can do to make it better eventually? If so, I hope that it gets better ASAP! Is it plantar faciitis?

^ It's a couple warts. 8) It burns since I have to use a medicated pad on it pretty much 24/7. Sounds easier to treat than it has been. The "mother" wart so to speak was surgically removed in December '11--The incision was about a quarter inch in, that's how deep it was. Now there are a bunch of "baby" warts peppered around the incision site. It just never ends. The "mother" wart had been there since about 2008. It's amazing the things we let go when we'd rather do drugs. I guess I'm now paying the price.

Ahh...I hate warts. I picked up some warts in the steam room at the gym when I was in my late teens. I tried everything to get rid of them. Freezing, wart patch things, acid, etc. The freezing also made them fill up with fluid, they burst, and the warts spread. I ended up with them on my forehead, hands, knees, and ankles.

I went to a dermatologist here in Germany, and he prescribed me a cream for genital warts (even though I didn't have any warts on my genitals) that I had to apply every night for about a month or two. It was a creme that induced an immune response from me that ended up killing off the warts. At first nothing happened, and I was like...well shit, waste of time and money. However, within a few weeks the ones on my forehead became inflamed and then dried out and flaked off. Then about a month after that the ones on my hands, ankles, and knees started itching/hurting, became inflamed, and then within a week or so dried out and fell off. No scarring, no trace left whatsoever.

This was about 5 years ago, and I have been wart free ever since. I have no idea of the success rate of the creme, but it worked wonders for me. I wish I knew what it was called..I wasn't as much into medicine back then as I am today, so I didn't pay much attention.

That's the route I'm going to look into next if in a month they're all still there. Thank you for posting this. :)
