What did I do to my body. depressing loosing my grip on life.

I thought you get like 60percent nose 40percent mouth
According to whom? I'm not aware of any peer-reviewed clinical research showing that the absorption of Suboxone is greater through nasal than
through sublingual administration, but I'm sure that B-R and the FDA would love to know about it, because I'm certain that
they know nothing about it, either.

I don't know where people come up with these numbers. It's not safe to snort Suboxone. The drug is not designed to be used
that way. I still think that for you, snorting the Suboxone is closely tied into your past history abusing pills.
Did you snort the pills that you abused? Probably. I sure as hell did!

I would strongly encourage you to look into the Suboxone strips that I mentioned earlier. Pills containing a narcotic, even if
that narcotic is meant to be helpful, may simply be too much of a trigger for you.

What does white hairs all over your body mean if someone has them?

It can mean a lot of things, you'd need to get it checked by a doctor.. sometimes when someone is malnourished they grow fine hair called laguno over their body.. but there is no way for us to say what is causing it over the internet, I am afraid..

When your nutrion is bad (not eating enough) your body grows hairs all over. People with eating disorders get it. Its your body trying to conserve warmth. Its bad.

Snorting absorbs more for sure. Its on the suboxon main thread here on this forum, all over the web, and my doctor has told us that.

I snort because I have always snorted. I always feel I get more of a drug snorting no matter the drug, and I know its a old habit. However.

UPDATE. I have cut back from 16mg a day to about 10mg a day of suboxon. When I get down to 8mg a day snorted im going to switch to taking it like normal and take 12mg, I figure I get something more from snorting.. some feeling I enjoy so if I take the same amount sublinge I won't get the feeling I like and want to take more. I can't take more then im prescribed so instead I will cut back snorting as much as I can. Then use the extra to get my self back into the normal way of taking the drug, then once im used to that once again start taking less. I hope it works.

Also. I eat less/ better. I smoke a lot less. I drink less enegery drinks, I cut coffie, I cut salt (most).. I do more stuff, excerise more, have my own space and feel better. I am doing better. my health is better, I sleep better, I enjoy my life more. Even though I have been having lots of thoughts of using. As a result of ... just.. I don't know. I guess having my own space and at times I get depressed and want to drink or do speed to make me feel better.. but I know I know it won't be fun at all and I will feel worse in the end.. I just.. its close... I go down then up down then up. Songs trip me up the most. I hear one and my heart rips in half.

I am trying my best... im working so hard to do this ... there are things in my path I can't control and im scared and alone. Right now there is a song on the tv that makes me feel. I don't feel often.. I don't know why.. but a song makes me feel which triggers me to want to drink because drinking made me feel....

sounds weird... i don't know.. i don't know if I will make it.. its weird I really don't. every day is a fight. I just wonder if I ever will feel the good I felt from certain drugs. Sure coming down sucks, and recovery sucks, but I will say I have been high at times where I felt so amazing that I know there is no natural way to feel the same.

One time I remember the plesure felt so good I thought I would float up into the sky.. I just... FUCK music is a trigger I need to turn the tv off. its making me want to use so bad its making me feel weird. I need to stop typing bye.
Going to try but I Don't know goodnight

^ hang in there xxsicknessxx - I know it is hard but you are doing so well with your general nutrition, cutting back on smoking, exercising etc - you're doing all the right things and you should be really proud!

There are always things we can't control in life - it's really hard. The trick is to learn what we can control, and what we can't, and use what we can to help us overcome what we can't.. if that makes sense.. pretty sleep deprived, haha. We can't change what life throws at us but we can choose how we deal with it and you are doing fantastically - keep up the good work :) and turn the TV off! ;) <3

Have I missed something or has nobody mentioned that snorting 16mg of suboxone a day is not good for you ?

Have I missed something or has nobody mentioned that snorting 16mg of suboxone a day is not good for you ?

I have.

I don't want to hijack this thread, so this is going to be my final post to this thread about the OP's habit of snorting Suboxone because of
the OPs impression that there is greater absorption through that route of administration.

1. "Bluelight," while exceptionally helpful to those who participate, is not a clearinghouse of peer-reviewed, clinical research.
Therefore, finding some post on Bluelight purporting that it is safe to insufflate the drug, and that you achieve a greater effect through
insufflation is not an expert opinion and more than likely, is not relying upon sound, medical evidence, coming from a respected,
peer-reviewed clinical research article that has demonstrated such.

2. I find it absolutely impossible to believe that ANY doctor, including your own, would indicate to you and to anyone else, that it is safe and
effective to snort Suboxone. Such instruction would be in direct opposition to the prescribing info issued by the developers and marketers
of the drug, the FDA, and the DEA. To say that it is safe and effective to snort Suboxone is akin to saying that it is safe to administer
propofol to a patient in a bedroom to treat his insomnia without any monitoring or resuscitative equipment. I believe that you know who
I am referring to. A doctor making this statement to his or her patient would lose their ability to prescribe Suboxone, likely be sanctioned by
their licensure board, and face malpractice liability.

If you or anyone else out there has the data, and I mean THE DATA, that comes from sound science, showing that nasal administration of
Suboxone tablets designed for sublingual administration is safe and more effective than the way in which the drug is currently labeled for use,
then I am happy to stand corrected.

Its a medical fact that suboxon is absorbed more if you snort it. 10-20 percent more. I never once said it was healthy or better for me. I simply know from experience and from research that it abosrbs faster and stronger through the nose. It makes sense too if you think about it. Mind you thats if you snort it right. Experience alone proves this to me. Seeing how I have run out early before and had to snort to make less be more. I don't care to prove it to you. Use google to your own research its not hard. I don't get why you keep bringing up I snort.. who cares? Sure its a bad habit but it has no health risks. I am working on stopping this habit though for my own good.

Update. I went to the doctor. Im doing tons better. Everything is going good. I smoke less, sleep better, eat better take less of my suboxon. One step at a time im getting my life back. I started work again and I feel so much better. Most my problems are related to my low iron. The doctor says that the tired, and pain will go away once my levels return. So I am very happy with the way everything is going. I was very depressed for awhile but things turned out ok. I am trying very hard to return to a normal life. I do still snort but im almost ready to stop. I take less of it and take it less times during the day. I take it maybe 4 times a day. So soon once I get down to two times a day I will just switch to taking it the normal way. Im not doing it for any health reasons I simply think snorting is clinging to a part of my past that I need to let go. Thank you to everyone who posted in my post and talked to me. Some of you I found very helpful and helped keep me in a good mood. Thanks.

Suboxone is absorbed better through nasal adminisration.

Here's a couple studies:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2576057, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11000552

It's a moot point when you're at 16 mg of suboxone a day because it's well above the ceiling dose for both routes of administration anyway.

If you want to continue to snort sub, here's a harm reduction technique:http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/...-FAQ-v13.0?p=10069194&viewfull=1#post10069194.

It shows you how to extract the bupe so you can stop harming your nose with all the unnecessary fillers.

Thank you I have gone down from 16mg to 8mg a day now. I am doing really good. I was at a breaking point about month ago where I thought I would never be able to cut back or cut back on smoking or anything.

xxsicknessxx, you should feel proud! You have struggled on so many different fronts with this. 'All in time' is a very healthy philosophy.<3
