What caused this reaction to MDPV?

Greetings all,

I use to be big on using MDPV. Seriously I loved the stuff. I would often go mad overboard when using it (vaporizing it I could go through a gram in 3 days). Honestly, every time I used it I would probably OD on it, however it wasn't ever life threatening as it has happened to me more times than I could count and never had any pain or anything associated with it.
Any time I got a new supply of it, after one night of constantly vaping it, I would basically lose the ability to speak normally. When I said certain letters of the alphabet. H's L's S's, you name it, I sounded like a stroke victim. I could say the word, but it would take me a few tries to get it to come out.
A sentence could come out
"HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHI I am Rob" The "Hi" would take like 5+ seconds for it to fully come out.
or I want s-s-s-s-s-s-s-soup for dinner.
It was not fun.

Here is the kicker though
After the first 24 hours of using it I would regain my ability to speak again, and I could continue to even go more overboard on the substance for the next week and have no problem at all with my speech.

If I took a day or two break from using the substance, the next time I picked it up the SAME stuff would happen. The next 24 hours my speech was impaired.

I am largely betting my money that it was due to vasoconstriction, but I don't see why after the initial 24 hours I could do the same amount of the RC (or MORE) and not have any more complications until I took a break for a few days and then started back up.

Obviously I have stopped using MDPV.
But I just want to know if anyone can point out what medically was causing the speech impairment

Thanks for the help/insight people!
