I love smoking weed, but I always get pretty paranoid. I never have panic attacks, but I want to smoke weed without the paranoid thoughts in the back of my head. Which benzo alleviates weed induced paranoia the best?

Weed may not be for you... Paranoia will only get worse for as long as you smoke.
But any benzo should do. Just get a low dose if you're only looking to kill the anxiety, with benzos less is more.

how long have you been smoking? Paranoia went away the longer i smoked... was only paranoid for the first few months i started.
if they are just thoughts in the back of your head cant you rationalize them? i remember one of the first times i was really high, i kept thinking we were being too loud and that the cops were going to come (even though there was just 4 of use smoking INSIDE of a house....)
any benzo would work but i don't see the point of smoking if u think you need one every time

Well I'm saying that anxiety is exacerbated by smoking in the long term, while in the short term it relieves it. So you will experience it when not high.

Any benzo will help with your anxiety.. But you will quickly become dependent on them for whenever you want to smoke, and then soon after, dependent on them for everyday life.
In my experience the benzo road is one best left untraveled.. Good luck though, and if you do decide to use a benzo in conjunction with your ganja smoking be sure to use a low dose and try not to make a habit of it.

I wouldn't blaze if everytime I had to pop a pill to enjoy it, weed calms me down naturally. Why do a drug when you don't enjoy what it does to you?

you might want to try smoking indica strains such as kush because these types relieve anxiety and chill you out while sativa strains are what most people get paranoia from
i have the same problem as you which is why i normally stick to indica strains, unless i'm alone...i tend to have social anxiety even while sober.

Being a newbie can you fill me in on what and "indica strain" is weed is weed to me I have never really got into the different strains lol didn't realise there were so find this stuff pretty interesting or lead me to the right thread to read up ..

Inidica strains have a heavier chill stone whereas sativas have a more uplifting energetic high(sometimes anxiety inducing hence the suggestion).

Great thanks for that - thats quite out of it - it's usually "a tiny' and that's that - not that I smoke it alot anymore do more herbal type stuff every now and then when the mood takes me as I need all my brain cells for study ...

Trust me....
Not smoking weed is a far better life choice than taking benzos to smoke weed....
Growing up around a person heavily addicted to xanax and klonopin was not good for me.... Once your to the point where you are heavily addicted and will withdrawal without it, expect the withdrawal symptoms to include seziures and convulsions.... It takes a long time to get off benzos, and honestly a benzo addiction is the most unpleasant thing i have seen out of a drug user....
Unless in a number of years when your a parent or something and still taking it to the point where your passing out on your plate at dinner or too messed up to walk up the stairs, or forgetting important things, having to be told everything multiple times, jesus i have had the same conversation with my mom 4 times in a single day....
Do yourself a favor, if the only reason you want to take them is to enjoy weed. Your in for a rude awakening when that day comes that you try to stop and end up waking up to paramedics in the room because you had your first seizure.... Im talking years from now, but years of benzo use will do it...
