Just finished “Taboo” (fiction) with Tom Hardy. Set in 1800 London during the Revolutionary War. Very interesting show showing the down and dirty side of life in that era. Sets are incredible.

i'm 3 episodes in to shifty, the adam curtis documentary series.

it's excellent.

i grew up in the uk and was 12 when thatcher was elected. this all resonates very strongly for me: the falklands; the yorkshire ripper; black monday; etc.

it's nostalgic and depressing.
