-Lithium
-manic depression, keeps emotional swings more -stable.
-absolutely neccessary to remain functional
-Seroquel
-sleep disorders during manic episodes
-absolutely neccessary if I don't want to be staying awake for 24-72 hours in a manic state

ritalin twice a day - 20mg in the morning...10mg around 6 hours later...wellbutrin 100mg twice a day...
Why are you prescribed this particular drug?
ritalin: ADD
wellbutrin: mild depression
Do you really need this drug, or are you just faking it for recreation sake?
i just don't know anymore...

junglist... how long ya been on the lorazepam? I just got a script for a months worth (.5mg pill twice a day), but he said he wouldn't keep me on it long term. I also got it for anxiety & panic attacks.

Effexor XR (112.5mg/day but I've stopped taking this)
Klonopin (0.5mg/day as needed)
Ativan (0.5mg 2x/day as needed)
Ambien (10mg as needed for insomnia)
Trazadone (not sure of dosage since I never take it)
Alesse 28
Naproxen (500mg 2x/day as needed)
Vicodin (500-5mg every six hours as needed)

Naproxen for severe menstural cramps

Effexor- I needed it. Took it for a while but wanted to try life without it for a while. Started exercising, eating better and making other life changes. Might start taking it again sometime next year. No recreational value.
Ativan & Klonopin- Needed them. Don't enjoy them for recreational use (tried them). Actually, I don't like them much for their intended use because they make me too groggy. (This makes my friends happy, 'cause they have a steady supply now.) Excellent for "the day after", though.
Ambien- I need it sometimes but my doctor thinks I need it more than I actually do... I usually take melatonin if I need something to help me sleep and Ambien for fun.
Trazadone- I probably need it but I hate taking it because it gives me headaches.
Alesse- I take this faithfully
Naproxen- Brand new Rx for me as of today. I'll probably take it as needed for my MILD cramping.
Vicodin- Also a new Rx for me. I'm sure I'll take it for cramps sometime in my life. Haven't tried it recreationally... YET.
***I'm not really a nut, I just have a lot of orange bottles in my medicine cabinet.

Nadie, do you have bipolar?
-I WAS on Effexor, don't take it anymore though. I take fiorinal w/ codeine (30 mg) one day a month for menstrual cramps. I have a prescription also for prozac and the birth control pill but I don't use either.
-I was on the antidepressants for OCD. Codeine for pain. It hasn't been working too well lately, and I might be getting an IUD (form of birth control) that will make my cramps worse, and if I get it, I will be getting OC (small doses). Yes, my cramps are REALLY BAD ( I can 't function).
-Never abused any of the meds. I actually really dislike opiates, they make me feel out of it and I think more slowly -- I don't find them recreational at all. They are the only thing that works for my pain, though.
 
amerge for migraines, absolutley no recreational value.
but i never get my scripts filled cuz i only recently got health insurance. before i had health insurance the amerge cost $10 dollars a pill! so now that i have health insurance i can actually get some drugs.

Not faking the ADD.. I was diagnosed at 14 years old.

Fairnymph- Yes, I have bipolar (hypomania). I'm being evaluated now for ADD, too. Interesting combination, huh? I'm 24 years old. I've always suspected I was bi-polar but was just diagnosed this year.
 
Presribed: lorazepam 0.5mg qid.
Why: technically situational anxiety with panic attacks.
This is purely for recreational use. I am actually naturally less anxious than I probably ought to be.
 
I am prescribed 100mg Trazadone for sleep.
I am also prescribed Imipramine for depression.
I don't really need either of these, nor do I take them for recreation. I only take trazadone if I really can't sleep. The other I don't take at all.

Eskalith 450mgs 3x's a day
Ambien 10mgs right before bed as needed

Been on Eskalith for 4 yrs now diagnosied as bipolar
Ambien for when I can't sleep been on that for 3 yrs

The eskalith sometimes I've choosen to stop taking it several times but when I do I get really awful so yeah I guess I do need it
the Ambien is just my "guilty pleasure' I'm sure I could sleep without it but I don't like trying
 
1. Ativan / Ortho Tri-Cyclen
2. generalized anxiety disorder / birth control
3. I definitely need both. The Ativan definitely relieves a significant amount of any anxiety I am feeling. It's not as effective as Xanax, which I occasionally take recreationally but it definitely helps. The b/c pills also make me more balanced emotionally, in my opinion. I don't really get PMS and my moods are not up & down all over the place.
