this was pre pre coltdan man, this was at least 10 yrs in the making, sometimes i do the double decker,have mozzarella inbtween a cheesesandwich and a peanut butter sanwich, 4 slices of bread 3 layers of filling and cook till perfectly golden :D tis booming

Ice Cream Incident Conundrum

I have in my freezer a tub of ice cream whose sides I've burst with a knife in a hurried attempt to extract said dessert with sharp knife. Patience is a virtue I do not possess.

I like my ice cream thawed a bit (soft and creamy) and indeed I will struggle to get the ice cream out of the tub in it's solid state. But if I thaw I forsee a leakage!

I'd appreciate any ideas to save this would-be gooey mess (it's rasperry ribble so it can't go to waste )

Duct (duck ) tape? Put the whole thing in a bigger container, let it thaw then eat it all plus leakage in one go?

must say my Hoppin John was much better this time.had a larger better piece of smoked ham-cooked the rice in the water i cooked the ham n beans-added some passata-used more cayenne pepper.

next time im going to try and used smoked ham on the bone.got enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
